"An ok saison. Not as much character as some really nice one’s we had on this trip. Brewed with orange peel, which was the main player, and done well, but the aroma was weak and the rest was decent, but not a standout. more like a fruity belgian ale."

Draft at Rattle. Pours hazy golden orange with a white head. Light spicy yeast, fruity sweetness, apricot, and light bitterness in the finish. Not a dry enough finish, but pretty good otherwise.

Pretty weak saison that had a bit of a lag in the taste to the palate. Pretty far off the mark.

Tap at Old Chicago. Tons of funk, kinda spicy. Lots of yeast, couldnt finish it due to the amount of yeast.

Sampled on draft at the Headkeeper this beer poured an orange-tan color with a large soapy-fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was grainy, malty and yeasty with a bit of booziness and golden fruits. The flavor was bitter, somewhat tart, grainy, bready and had light notes of golden fruits, honey and a faint boozy presence. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Orange appearance with a white head. The aroma is fruity, biscuits, pepper, bread and yeast. Similar flavor with lightly sweet malts. Light to medium body with a crisp, clean feel and a refreshing finish. Not bad.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2012 Draft at winners circle. Pours clear copper with minimal head. Aroma is mildly yeast driven. Taste is very good and just needs a kick from the aroma. This is one of the better american style saisons i’ve had flavorwise.

Draught. Straw gold with medium white head. Floral spicy aroma with some candy smell. Medium to full body. Flowers, spice and a mix of wheat and barley malt. Good in warm weather

This poured an almost cleary straw yellor color with a white head. Very flat looking for a saison. Aroma was mild yeast and spice notes, some light fruits, and mild hair salon notes as well. Flavor was much the same, not as subdued as I was expecting from the aroma, decent flavor but nothing amazing. So So.

Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium, fizzy off-white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is light fruity esters, spicy and earthy hops, pepper notes with straw and cereal malt. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and light bitterness, Belgian yeast esters and a dry finish. Medium to light body and medium carbonation.
