alaskanwarren (281), Edgewater, Colorado, USA May 12, 2005 Hmm... not a very good pale ale. It pours golden-orange with a smallish white head. Smells light and slightly bitter. No real hops to notice in the nose. Initial taste is disappointing. I expected at least some hops to speak of, but just got a light malt with a little bit of fruit. Body is medium-light with a tiny bit of coating. Finish is some sort of sour maltiness. Overall, rather uninteresting. Too bad.
Sammy (3240), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 26, 2008 Enjoyed from the inventory at Rock Bottom.Kind of off-aroma. Looks like apple juice, with a little white foam and lace. Taste is apple juice and ome hops. Overall OK, carbonation a bit fizy. Glorified apple cider, serviceable hoppiness. Passable beer.
