pjk33 (383), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA May 31, 2005 Bottle from Kaggie97, Thanks! Pours a light amber / copper color with no head to speak of and only a slight aroma of malt - no hops to speak of. This one tastes more like an English Ale or maybe a Scottish Ale than an American Pale... Not bad stuff, but not really fitting the style as far as I’m concerned. Malty and a little sweet with a bit of a roasted honey flavor. Decent stuff, but nothing to go nuts about.
Sammy (3240), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 26, 2008 Enjoyed from the inventory at Rock Bottom.Kind of off-aroma. Looks like apple juice, with a little white foam and lace. Taste is apple juice and ome hops. Overall OK, carbonation a bit fizy. Glorified apple cider, serviceable hoppiness. Passable beer.
