Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Quite possibly the perfect beer. Excellent balance of roasted malt and dark (bitter) chocolate. Pours dark, and aroma is deeply chocolate, but taste is not overly sweet and is well-balanced. Great beer.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Appearance is deep brown, nearly black appearance, foam is khaki colored. Aroma is moderate milk chocolate with sweet cocoa powder and cream, light roast. Taste is mild bitterness with low earthy hop flavor, milk chocolate with cocoa. Palate is soft creamy mouthfeel almost nitro like, smooth. Overall, exactly what the title is, kind of a thin version of a milkshake. Good.

Very good Porter with tons of chocolate flavor. Dark cola color with tan head that quickly dissipates. Pretty smooth . Not very complex but is really easy on the pallets. Very little coffee taste. Kind of like chocolate milk.

Pours black under a brown head that quickly diminishes. Smells of caramel and milk chocolate. Smooth at first then turns astringent. Tastes more of dark chocolate. I normally don’t like chocolate beer. This was not an exception. I must point out I did not pick this beer.

Aroma of a chocolate milk shake, pours an amazing dark brown color with a thick foamy lasting tan head. Great taste of a choclate milk shake with hints of cocoa medium body and a delicuous chocolate finish.

Soo nice. Ultra smooth and immensely drinkable. The thick creamy light tan head lasts forever. No off tastes whatsoever. Perfectly balanced. Fairly dry until the very end of the finish where there’s a bit o’ sweet.

Bottle from Capital Market. Pours a very dark brown in color, almost black. Sweet chocolate nose the a good amount of coffee and some malt balls. Smooth mouth with loads of chocolate. A good amount of sweetness leading into some roasted coffee. A lightly bitter finish as well. Quite tasty indeed.
