Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Draft pour in pint glass. Black with thin head. Aroma of chocolate and a hint of coffee. Tastes almost like chocolate milk-smooth, creamy and very chocolaty.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Light minerally crispness. Good cocoa chocolate, touch of cocoa bitterness. Mildly tangy fruit. Semi dry finish. A choccy cocoa beer, feels slightly gimmicky.

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours dark brown with a rather small frothy beige head that leaves a small trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet with sweet bread, chocolate milk, hay and soil. Taste is sweet and slightly bitter with bread, chocolate milk, hay, soil, vanilla and hints of coffee. Mouthfeel is soft, watery and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with chocolate milk, vanilla, soil and hay. Too heavy on the chocolate milk.

Opaque black color with a small tan head. How how really sweet candy fruity aroma. Fine body, but a bit to sweet. Chocolate, candy, fruity, vanilla and some spices. Way to sweet for me!

Bottle at USA comes to Göteborg 2014. Clear deep amber beer with a decent beige head. Chocolate and cocoa aroma, not much more, very much focusd on one thing in the aroma. Chocolate oboy flavro. Way too much chocolate, sweet and cloying.

12oz bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Huge chocolate aroma with plenty of chocolate flavor to back it up along with vanilla and lesser notes of coffee. Really appropriate name for this one as it does remind me of a chocolate shake only way, way better. Silky mouthfeel and more chocolate than any other brew I can think of. Great desert beer without the crazy high alcohol levels of an impy stout.

Tap/Nitro - average size creamy head, almost black color, roasty chocolate aroma and flavor, very mild coffee notes, kind of does taste a fair amount like a choc shake, pretty good overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled@SBWF2014. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is bigtime chocolate along with some mild berryish notes. Flavour is chocolate, some roast, mild vanilla as well as some mild coffee and toffee. Great mouthfeel too.

Bottle. 10/12/14. Pours creamy black with a fluffy, dense beige head. Aroma is rich of chocolate, grass, dark and roast malts, cereal, hay, more chocolate. Taste is rich dark chocolate, cereal, hay, hints of coffee, marshmallow, touch of toast; finish is bitter chocolate and cereal. Nice, dense lacing throughout. Medium-light carbonation. Medium bodied, creamy, velvety; appropriate. Really nice.
