COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Draft. Pours black with thick creme colored head that lingers. Smellsike a chocolate shake with mild carbonation. This was served on nitro. Thick, chocolate, sweet, yum. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz draft into a pint glass. Pours a deep brown with a thick disappearing off-white head that laces the glass. Scents of dark chocolate, símores, and roasted malts. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, and toasted grains. Thin on the mouth for the style of beer, but overall a good pour.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with a thick light tan head. Aroma of chocolate, tootsie rolls, roasted malt. Very chocolatey aroma. Flavor of chocolate malt, perhaps a touch artificial and sweet. Decent chocolate porter, drinkable, but a little artificial. 7/4/6/3/13 (3.3/5)

Like other Boulder releases, it is smooth and enjoyable, but not outstanding. A little milk chocolate and some smoky porter taste.

Tap on nitro. Nice subtle, not overpowering chocolate kick to a very creamy, smooth pour. At a lower ABV you can take big quaffs without much repercussion ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ton of chocolate on the nose, very dark with not much head, chocolate notes with a subtle coffee with a slight smokey taste and finishes very smooth with even more chocolate. Overall a decent chocolate porter, emphasis on the chocolate.

Smell is powerful. Malty chocolaty. Lactose notes. Smooth. Iron copper, Looks nicer dark brown. Creamy light tan head, Taste is well balanced. Sweet. Chocolate is present and very noticeable but not too power powering. Metalic notes move into a smooth finish. Palate is metallic. Smooth. Sweet. Creamy. Balanced. This is probably the best chocolate beer Iíve had. Very balanced but still letís the chocolate stand out.

Very rich chocolate flavor. I feel it could use a bit more alcohol, however.

"Solid new addition. Big bakers chocolate and cocoa, kinda like a Sam smiths chocolate stout, just a touches lighter with less roast. This will definitely scratch that chocolate itch, and for a good price."
