COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our twist on the traditional american porter, Shake chocolate porter is black in color with rich, dark chocolate aromatics and flavors and subtle coffee-like notes. This unique brew blends five different grains, including Chocolate Wheat, that along with cacao nibs create a devilishly delicious chocolate finish with a velvety mouth feel.

Pours opaque dark mahogany with an off white creamy head. Aroma is straight up chocolate and malt. Almost smells like Cocoa Pebbles. Slightly creamy mouthfel with chocolate on the tongue and a bit of roasted malt. Aftertaste is a slightly bitter dark chocolate that disappears quickly. Not bad.

Creamy milk chocolate on the nose. Smooth taste, no bitter palate. Very enjoyable to drink. Not my style preference yet a very good beer that I wouldn’t mind drinking again.

2L growler in a tumlber. Pours deep brown with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate and lightly roasted malts, some light notes of coffee and caramel, some dough, and light hops. Flavor the same with a nice blend. Average texture. A solid porter.

Drank from a twelve ounce bottle purchased from Bottle King. Strong aroma of chocolate and slightly roasted malts. Not a lot of carbonation on the tounge, slightly sweet and slightly dry finish and leaves a chocolately aftertaste!

12oz bottle poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is black with good carbonation yet a thin brown bubbly head. Aroma is roasted with a smoky scent that is backed by a chocolate note. It has a thin medium body giving it a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is a mild roasted coffee, a hint of sweet shows with a nice chocolate note and ends with a touch of bitterness. In the after taste the chocolate stands out and hangs on. Overall its a very good Chocolate, flavor is real chocolate not some fake ass, watered down yoo-hoo crap that a lot of brewers try to pass off.

Great beer. This brew smells of chocolate and alcohol. Looks great. Dark pour with white head. Tasty of chocolate and coffee.

Dark brown pour with ruby hints light tan head. Super sweet chocolate aroma dominates a lot like yohoo. Flavor is sweet. Jo plate that has a flat and toucho sour as well. Medium bodied and fizzy. Flat flavor with a bit of a funky aftertaste.

Well when they say chocolate they really mean plenty of chocolate with this brew. This chocolate porter tastes like a Hershey candy bar, with a rich, almost too sweet, milky smooth texture. Could pass as a milk stout. Aroma likewise is strong on caramel and cocoa malt. Tastes much more like sweet chocolate than dark chocolate, only mild mild bitterness in the finish. Faint earthy hops. I'll give them credit for supplying a crafted super-chocolatey beer as advertised, although it seems like this beer lacks subtle complexity that could make it even more enjoyable. Interesting dessert beer.
