3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can labeled as Singletrack Rye Pale Ale. Pours clear amber with a medium beige head, good retention, very good lacing. Aromas of rye toast, grass, hay. Light body, lively, crisp, lightly dry. Lightly sweet, a hint of citrus, mild bitter finish. Decent amber ale; emphasising the rye on the label was a good idea.

"an average amber ale that has a decent malt profile with a little dirt/biscuitiness to it, and some bitter but not overly aromatic or flavorful hops. ok i guess."

On tap: The aroma consists of light citrus, fruit, and a touch of caramel. It’s a transparent amber with a small white head that quickly fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. There is some dotted lacing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a quick dose of fruit with a hint of caramel. The finish has light citrus. It’s light bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

I was very surprised by this beer. A low gravity beer designed to be something for the bud and miller drinkers who visit the pub.
This beer drinks almost as crisp as a lager with full malt flavor with slightly more biscuit and caramel notes than the golden ale. Low but present hop bitterness and flavor.
I wish this beer was on the shelf everywhere next to the big brewery beers as an alternative beer that can be enjoyed in light beer weather and beach days.

Had this on draft at Denver airport. Copper light pour with sticky white head. Deep Carmel and rich malty taste. Earthy and smooth. Not my favorite style. But good

12 oz bottle from Evergreen Discount into my NBB globe glass. Copper and clear with a bright white head and active carbonation. Mild aroma of sweet malts, toffee, nuts and caramel. Similar flavor with toasted malts and a touch of rye bitterness. Light body with average carbonation and a sweet finish. Easy to drink, but pretty bland... cool label, I guess.

It's a fine copper ale. Instead of pretending to be a critic, an anecdote: I work at Oskar Blues and a truck driver came in for a delivery. He seemed shocked, "How come it smells nice and sweet in here? Not just stale like Budweiser." We have malts, hops, and real stuff. Not just water.

16 ounce pint - $5.75 at Taco Mac in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Orange-copper brew, clear, with a just under an inch of not-quite-white foam.
Smell: Bready, biscuity malts, a little bit of citrus present, even lighter herb hints, and a low yeasty tone.
Taste: Biscuity, light pale malt. A little sugar cookie sweetness, falling short of a mild caramel taste. A light orange accent, minor spice/herb vibe. Medium-light bitterness. The finish is dry and fairly clean.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not particularly malty, not really all that hoppy. While not bad, Singletrack is rather one-note.
