12 oz bottle - pours a clear copper color with a thin white head and little lacing. Metallic aroma with some hop, caramel and a little citrus. Taste is somewhat thin, with faint hop, malt and sweetness. Goes down pretty easy - not a complex beer by any strech of the imagination.

Pours a dark amber/copper color with golden orange hues when held to a light source and a one finger white head that quickly fades into a lasting ring. Not much in the way of lacing. Rosted malt aroma with some biscuit and rye notes as well as some subtle floral hops. Kind of bland with not much standing out. Again the flavor is kind of bland. Slightly watered down with a caramel and rye character with some toasty biscuit notes balanced out by subtle floral hops. There’s nothing special about this beer and seems to be made for drinking in large session rather than a profound sipper.

Copper in color. Surprise, surprise..... Nice nose. Lightly floral, wild flowers. Gently hopped. Clean and simple. Lacking flavor though.

On tap and 12oz bottle. Pours a coppery amber with a big fluffy head that leaves big sudsy lace. Smell is foral and hoppy with a big hit of caramel malt. Taste is biscuity malt with some sticky hops in the background. Medium bodied and mildly carbonated. An ok brew.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a couple finger head, was too dark outside to see the beer color. Aroma is sweet and slightly soapy. The flavor is sweet and grainy with a dash of dry smelling hops and grain. The mouthfeel was medium carbonation and slightly creamy.

Location: Old rating from a 12 oz bottle from a trip to Denver Fall ’07

Overall Impression: No notes from this old rating, but lets put a score in for now, and I’ll update when I come across this beer again.

Sunny but hazy amber-yellow. Terrific bishop’s collar of lace at the top. Nice to look at. Some nice sweet and biscuity barley malt smell. Mild hop presence. Pleasant but not much to speak of in terms of variety. The taste is pleasant, sweetish barley. Minor citrusy hop that adds nice balance. Has a hoppy pilsnerish quality. A fine example of a light ale with a citrus kick. (Similar in many ways to Erie Brewing’s Mad Anthony.) The feel is creamy and medium bodied. Nice bod. It’s quite quaffable. Light but not watery; hoppy but not bitter.

Doughy and malty aroma...Slightly bitter finish. Overall, an average and ok beer.
