Draft at Coles, Buffalo NY. Solid amber IMO, Copper pour. Caramel malts with some citrusy hops in the aroma. Good flavor, follows up aroma as expected. Nice bitterness, one of the better examples of the style

On tap at Republic. "fresh tracks". I guess I didn’t realize at the time that it was a fresh hop version of single track. I was definitely unimpressed with it. Though that would make sense since I don’t like single track. Sweet malty aroma. Copper pour with white head. Tastes a little sweeter than normal singletrack.

Draft at dog & pony. Crystal clear pale golden amber. Mild caramel nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast and caramel mid palate. Mild finish.

NobleSquirrel (3437) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 4, 2011
Draft at Dad & Dude’s. Pours a pretty enough copper/amber with a fluffy head that does stick to the bottom. Nose is a bit dusty and soft caramel, pretty light overall. On tasting, not a lot of hop character, not a lot of malt character. Pretty inoffensive and clean overall. Not a bad beer, just not much to it.

jcr (2112) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - OCT 28, 2011
Draft under rebrand of Fresh Track. Clear amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Toasted rainy aroma with notes of cookie, grapefruit and dough. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Didn’t expect much from this amber ale and this beer met my expectations. Simple, qualffable and a bit raw around the edges. Average amber.

(cask, as "Fresh Track") amber with almost no head. Caramel malt and mild hops aroma. Great cask mouthfeel. Caramel malt flavor with a little pine/grass hops in the finish. Very nice cask ale.

reebtogi (3833) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 18, 2011
355ml bottle poured a copper color with a big white head which settled quickly and left a few spots of lacing behind. Aroma is slightly nutty and caramel. Taste is light malty sweetness and a light hoppy bitterness. A decent amber ale.

Tap - small thick head, medium amber color, mildhoppy flavor with a different taste - can’t quite place it

A: The beer pours a light amber color with a small off-white head. S: Smells a bit buttery. There is some sweet bread and toffee, but very minimal hop character. A light fruit ester quality to go with the rather bland malt and hop character. A touch of pine and definitely a bit of grass. T: Some grass and straw, and a hint of pine. The bready malt flavor combines with a light toffee note to provide some sweetness. M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. O: Another sub-par offering at the Boulder Beer Tap House.

Pours a dark copper and smells of mild hops. Too much sweet sentiments in the flavor. I prefer more hops then malt in this style but then again I am a hophead. Smooth finish.
