A very average beer. Thereís not much flavor to it, but what flavor there is ends in a kind of cardboard finish.

Dry and hardly any flavor of malt- this is like a Pale Ale that someone forgot to add hops to. Kind of lame. Iím in too much of a hurry to elaborate. bottle from Midtown Wine and Spirits, Nashville, TN

Pours hazier orange with white head, aroma is old sweet biscuit, almost ester-like. Tastes similar to aroma with an odd sweetness, but still fairly enjoyable.

Bottle known to be at least a year old: Dried leaves on the nose, with caramel hints. Clear copper, no head, minimal lacing. Flavor is dried leaves, subtle barley malt finish. Decent and well made, but pretty ordinary.

Pours light amber with a rich beige head and a toffee and pine aroma. There is a substantial caramel malt flavor with sticky hop bitterness and a dry finish.

Draught at TJís: Faint malt aroma. Poured amber in color with a creamy, dense, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Slightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of caramel malt, slight dried leaves, slight hops, light toasting, and slight Earth. Medium body. Average texture. Caramel malt, slight Earth, and slight hop finish is a tad dry.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a very clear amber with small white head. Good lacing. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Tastes of malt balanced by hops. Very drinkable.

[Tap] Pours a copper/amber color with a few faint hints of off-white head. Aroma of caramel and some hazelnut. The taste is akin to Fat Tire, with a mild malty character and little hopping. Light metallic finish. High carbonation and average mouthfeel. Quite drinkable.

Shag (2584) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - SEP 17, 2010
This poured a copper color wirh a white head. The aroma contains some citrus, caramel, and toffee. The flavor is malty with some carame and dark fruits present. The body on this is actually pretty good for an amber. Overall same song and dance with the style, but this has a tad more character than some. For session BSing only!

Maybe it was the nostalgia that got me on this one, because I have been to the brewery when I was younger. I didnít drink craft brew then and I believe this is one of the ones we had. I remembered it being average. Tonight I am rating it for real. This beer looks and smells pretty good. Smells of good hop character, has a nice copper hue and good carbonation. Where this beer falls flat is on the taste. No idea what they are going for but itís just bad, like bitter beer face bad. Itís a shame because the marketing is well done.
