BeerBelcher (800), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Nov 12, 2007 This beer pours a slightly hazy copper (true to title) color. Head is tiny bubbles and fairly plentiful, although it quickly fades to a scummy layer with incomplete coverage on the top of the beer. Aroma is some caramel. Flavor is weirdly bitter, but in a malty way. Flavor is off...not very good...a bit like a malted milk ball, but rather unpleasant. Mouthfeel is a bit thick, and not especially grand.
I would pass on this the next time you’re cruising down the beer aisle. Not recommended.
I picked this up at Liquor Mart in Boulder and brought it back to WI in my wooden leg.
rocbyter (692), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Dec 2, 2008 Malt with a slight amount of fruit. Clear orange color with a small white head. Sweet malt beginning with a light amount of bitter finish. changeup45 (608), Orlando, Florida, USA Nov 29, 2008 Overall this beer is rather boring. Pours a copper or amber color with a thin off-white head. Malty sweetness with light bitter citrus hops following but not a whole lot to it. Not bad, drinkable, but also an easy one to forget. Sammy (3240), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 27, 2008 Nice little beer with a light copper colour and a minimum head, but lace leaves its sign of freshness, and enormous spider webbing. No aroma, yet the hop is assuredly there without being overwhelming. A bit less than average mouthfeel. Drinkable, and sessionable.
Theis (2474), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 21, 2008 Draught at Boulder Beer. Clear amber - white head. Caramel, straw, sweetness, candy, chewing gum, sharpness - again wierd. ksurkin (67), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Oct 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear, light copper with a thin, quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a slight hint of hops and citrus. Nothing amazing. Flavor is dry and slightly hoppy. Smooth, good carbonation, very slight bitter taste left on the palate. As a lifelong mountain biker, I had to buy a six pack, but I must admit it was mostly for the bottle. Just an average beer.
