dwyerpg (2143), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Feb 23, 2006 Had at Qdoba! in Glenwood Springs, quite surprised. I really like this copper/amber, not my usual style. Hoppy, witha nice perfect amount of graininess. Like an IPA meets Arrogant Bastard. Puss Gutt99 (206), Oldtown, Florida, USA Dec 8, 2001 probably ’nursed’ this beer longer than any i have tried loweredsixth (939), Fresno, California, USA Jul 17, 2002 Very unique aroma and taste. I swear it smells and tastes like sweetened ice tea. I can’t describe it any other way. I love it. I’m always attracted to beers with a unique character. I’m looking forward to drinking more of this beer! TheBeerBaron (171), Florida, USA Jun 5, 2007 Bottle. Light copper color, frothier foam than most american ales. No visible carbonation. Balanced aroma of buttery sweet malts and medium strength hops and pine. Sedated gentle palate that has minimal carbonation feel. Excellent balance and smooth taste. A mild hop taste is what you notice most, but is not dominating, other than that it has a great blend of what makes beer tasty. Not overly bitter but you know you’re drinking a beer thanks to the great ingredients in this one. BrianHagmeier (174), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jul 21, 2008 First, very drinkable. Next is a perfect balance of malt, body and hops. The only down side is a little too bitter on the tail end. Wonderful beer, Im glad I have six more of them.
