I guess everyone has a different palate, but I donít understand the low ratings people give this beer. I buy it by the case. Excellent aroma, great taste. One of the better ales I have tasted. This seems to be Boulder Beerís strength....ales. Their IPA is good too. Give this product a chance and you will be pleased with your purchase. Solid ale.

Had at Qdoba! in Glenwood Springs, quite surprised. I really like this copper/amber, not my usual style. Hoppy, witha nice perfect amount of graininess. Like an IPA meets Arrogant Bastard.

On Draft at Blind Tiger for the VSK event. Pours a beautiful transparent orange copper, leaf changing kinda brilliance. Huge hop driven body, a bouquet of floral hop resins, citrus, grapefruit, and passion fruit. Hoppy herbal light grass y green hop bud character with a drying finish. Rather awesome.

Bottle. Light copper color, frothier foam than most american ales. No visible carbonation. Balanced aroma of buttery sweet malts and medium strength hops and pine. Sedated gentle palate that has minimal carbonation feel. Excellent balance and smooth taste. A mild hop taste is what you notice most, but is not dominating, other than that it has a great blend of what makes beer tasty. Not overly bitter but you know youíre drinking a beer thanks to the great ingredients in this one.

First, very drinkable. Next is a perfect balance of malt, body and hops. The only down side is a little too bitter on the tail end. Wonderful beer, Im glad I have six more of them.

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Amber pour with white head. Citrus, grapefruit and floral hop aromas, very nice. Some grassy flavors along with citrusy hop flavors, nice IPA.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Poured a hazy dull amber color with a creamy off-white head. Hop forward aroma with orange and sweaty notes. Much nicer than I had expected. The flavor is a nice mix of semi-sweet malt and hints of orange and earthy hops. The flavor dulled out from what I found in the aroma. Light to medium body. Long semi-dry bitter finish.

Yum! I love the way the malt is done in this one.
