The color of a Colorado sunset, this complex, garnet colored ale blends the nutty flavor of roasted barley with three varieties of hops to impart a rich malt flavor and hoppy finish. Medium-to-full bodied with dry, almost smokey characteristics, Sundance Amber is a very sophisticated brew.

Good amber ale with a high malt smell, but somewhat spicy/nut aftertaste that was suprisingly good. Somewhat thick for an amber ale rerate-the more i drank this, it became more boring and tasted ’watery’

UPDATED: APR 29, 2005 Sweet and moderately toasty caramel malt aroma, some fruity, citric hop as well. Medium orange-amber color, clear, with am average head and fine lacing. Flavor gains most of its character from the malt, with strong caramel and nutty sweetness progressing towards a lightly roasty, lightly bitter and surprisingly lengthy finish. Some vague fruitiness to be found here and there. Body is light-medium, mouthfeel is a bit watery. Drinkable, and, more importantly, distinguishable Amber.

Sure liked this one. Complex flavor of malt followed by a nice hop aftertaste. Really went good with my pizza.

Fine ingredients in a poor mixture. Smell malt, but do not taste it, sadly.
