COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The color of a Colorado sunset, this complex, garnet colored ale blends the nutty flavor of roasted barley with three varieties of hops to impart a rich malt flavor and hoppy finish. Medium-to-full bodied with dry, almost smokey characteristics, Sundance Amber is a very sophisticated brew.

Sure liked this one. Complex flavor of malt followed by a nice hop aftertaste. Really went good with my pizza.

Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours amber with a decent head. Aroma of malt, caramel, and slight toffee. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is fairly balanced and not too bad.

Pours clear amber with a decent white head. Not much in the way of aroma, some dirt, grass, and a little citrus. Medium body with stale bread flavor.

Fresh ara-malty aroma. Copper in color. Cara-malty flavor as well, with little noticeable ho character. Buttery-smooth finish. Notes: Brewery visit during GABF

On tap @ brewery. Pours a beautiful orange/gold with a perfect, minimalist head that lingers. But it smells and tastes earthy and metallic. Hoppy, but not smooth, without enough malt to balance.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Malty, toffee like aroma. The flavor has some crystal malt/toffee-like sweetness, along with lighter floral and earthy hop notes. Decent.

12 oz bottle courtesy of jbye4334. Pours deep amber/orange, kind of like the picture on the bottle. A vigorous pour netted a good 2 finger off white head. The aroma and flavor is light caramel malt with a slight whisper of grapefruit hop. Moderate palate with a slick texture.

(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of earth, biscuit, and caramel. Flavor of caramel malt, biscuit, some orange, nuts, and earth with a moderately bitter finish.

Pours amber with a mostly receding tan head. Notes of biscuit malt, caramel, jam, nuts and herbs. Medium bodied with bit of resin and lush carbonation.

Clear copper pour with frothy beige head and nice lacing. Malty aromas balanced by hops. Metallic off-taste with some bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. Not at the top of my amber ale list.
