COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The color of a Colorado sunset, this complex, garnet colored ale blends the nutty flavor of roasted barley with three varieties of hops to impart a rich malt flavor and hoppy finish. Medium-to-full bodied with dry, almost smokey characteristics, Sundance Amber is a very sophisticated brew.

Great tasting Amber Ale. One of the ales at the top of my list! I recommend this beer without hesitation!

Sure liked this one. Complex flavor of malt followed by a nice hop aftertaste. Really went good with my pizza.

Looking forward to sampling beer 2 from Rockies/wilderness pub. Excellent Amber!! Good flavor, full bodied as a amber should be. Nice hops and malt combination. I agree with everything the commercial description says. Excellent beer, a definite must try if this is in your market.

Good amber on tap, very fresh and with a crisp flavor. More bitter than other mabers, very well complemented the malts

A little maltier and sweeter than some other ambers I’ve tried. The hops here are almost non-existent, so don’t drink this expecting much bite. Its Achilles heel, if you will, is its slight overcarbonation.

Color is quite amber. Slightly dark, waxy appearance. Medium head lasts as film to the end of the glass. Aroma is malty, clean and impressively complex for the style; it includes butterscotch and caramel notes, some breadiness and a few fruit tinges of pear and perhaps kiwi. Flavor is similar but exhibits a heavy level of hoppiness; checked the brewery web site and as I thought they use hops from the Pacific Northwest, though they seem more bitter, not quite as floral as in, say, an American Pale Ale. Things come together on the palate for a slightly minty finish. Beer is light-bodied and could use a bit more carbonation. Overall a nice surprise.

Pours a rich amber color w/ a tall, semi creamy froth. Good head retention leaves behind a beautiful latherous lace. Aroma of chewy amber malts and a hint of cocoa. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers that are soft like a thick cotton quilt that grandma made me when I was just a kid. This is a malt forward brew w/ a very nice caramel component. Chewy and delicious possesing ony a slight hop essence. The finish lingers malty w/ a mild bittering. A good brew indeed.

A gift from the mountainous field site. Reminds me of smoother version of Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat and my old friend Strechmonster. Copper in color light oiley head, clean refreshing smooth taste of melons, warm satisfying finish.
