Pours a half finger of head on a hazy light straw body.
The aroma is a nice banana, dry grain and clove.
The taste is a mild lemon bitterness with a touch of honey sweet.
The texture is soft and fizzy.
A nice and easy drinking brew.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle dated 23 Dec. 2010 served in a pint glass on a hot day [from 2011 notes].
Straw color. A moderate pour produced only enough head to cover the top, and that quickly reduced to a thin small island and ring. The beer was only slightly hazy at first, but some sediment in the bottom of the bottle was added with visible effect. Visible carbonation ranging from fine to coarse.
S - a slightly pungent aroma mainly featuring wheat and yeast. Faintly floral and fruity. Not much, if any sign of hops.
T - not a big fan of wheat beers, on the whole, and this one has a unmistakable wheat element, yet I found the beer to be somewhat appealing and drinkable ... not a glowing endorsement, for sure, but about average for style. My main gripe is that is lacks hop presence, even in the faintly hoppy finish.
M - There’s some crispness, a thin body, and a slightly dry finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From bottle, hazy bright gold with medium head. Aroma of grass, wheat, yeast, slight sweet banana. Notes of earthiness in the back of the mouth while slightly-tart banana settles up in front. Pretty okay.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Clear yellow pour with fluffy white head. Faint over ripe banana and yeast in the nose. A bit underhopped on the finish, which has a fruity sweetness. Light all around.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy brown yellow with little head is scarily toilet-like and one of the ugliest drinks I have ever seen. Aroma is tangy wheat and yeasty bread. Flavor seems like a gose but without the coriander, salt, or sourness. A little honey and a little banana.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
there’s a weird mix of musty, sweetness, and bittering hops in the nose, and a little in the flavor. this has more going on than most blondes, but is a slight miss with the sum of the parts. not bad, but average or below for a wheat beer as well, and easily Boulder’s weakest offering that I’ve tried."

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a small fizzy white head that vanished quickly. The nose is fairly bland, some wheat and pale malt with a minimal touch of yeastiness. It tastes pretty similar, a light citrusy kick up front that fades to a lightly yeasty and wheat malt finish. Light bodied and easy drinking with soft fizzy carbonation. Just about what you’d expect from a beer with this name.
