clueo (112), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 12, 2008 A very nice and refreshing wheat beer. A bit of a lemon taste with a real smoot finish. A good beer for a warm summer day! bubbleflubber (885), Collinsville, Virginia, USA Jun 11, 2008 Pours cloudy straw into the glass, with a quickly diminishing fizz. The nose has lots of beans and legumes (I presume from the yeast strain). Wheat predominates here (although lightly), with a touch of lemon. I still pick up on the bean/yeast aspect mingling afoot in the flavor. Finishes quickly, pretty much the same... not extremely complex. The mouthfeel is light and slick, with a bit of carbo zest. Nothing outstanding, but good enough to try during the summer. dpjuart (670), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy yellow with small, half-finger white head that dissipates to a thin film of white. Lots of carb. Nose is skunky wheat with mild fruity esters and some sweetness. Lots of banana flavor with some citrus and mild wheat flavor. A touch of spice. Crisp hop ending with no real "wheaty" aftertaste. A pretty decent wheat beer, I must say. I’m normally not a fan of "American Wheat" beers, and this is a pretty decent blend of American and Hefeweizen styles. The straightforwardness of the wheat flavor a la American beers with the banana notes of a hefe, with little spice to speak of. Quaffable and refreshing. blutt59 (2045), Dallas, Texas, USA Jun 9, 2008 bottle, hazy yellow color, nice wheat notes with an average wheat malty flavor, ok but not anything original Hank1980 (734), Athens, Georgia, USA Jun 7, 2008 Pours hazy yellow. Aroma of citrus, fruit, wheat. yeast. Taste is similar and realtively light bodied. Very refreshing and basic beer. BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Jun 6, 2008 A hazy yellow color with a nice citrus and corrianer nose. A similar flavor with a smooth finish. On tap at the berwery Rotorhead87 (117), Temple, Texas, USA Jun 3, 2008 On draft at Denver Airport.
Pours a golden yellow color with a white head.
It has the classic wheat taste with a hind of fruitiness to it. This is a decent attempt at a Hefewiezen - nothing special, but not bad. keepersj12 (774), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA May 30, 2008 I’m a little more impressed than my ratebeer comrades on this beer. The pour is hazy yellow with a big fluffy head. Taste has the spice and wheat you’d expect. Very easy to down quite a few on a hot summer night.
