Rciesla (3510), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA May 28, 2008 Bottle. Pours a blonde pale ale. Aroma is wheat some spicy yeast and some sweet malt. Not much in the way of hops or etoh. pretty basic. DerBiermeister (504), Birmingham, Alabama, USA May 27, 2008 Quite tasty, kind of salty like (from Betty’s sweat), good with food and pleasant and light. ReademNwheat (174), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 27, 2008 From a bottle.pours very clear yellow. very average brew. Notes of wheat, spice and yeast in the taste and not much else. AdamSkillin (376), High Bridge, New Jersey, USA May 24, 2008 Draught at Circa 5/23/08. Very sour and tangy, but not in an unpleasant way. Not sure whether this is seasonal or not, but I love drinking it in the summer and would hate it any other time of year. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA May 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very cloudy blonde color with a white head. Aroma is of wheat and bananas. Taste is much of the same, has a bit of an acrid finish, but not bad overall. CheersMate1 (770), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 17, 2008 Smells like wheat ale. Very blonde in color, and very clear or transparent. There is a little bit of a grassy aroma. Not very aromatic, but still a decent smell for a blonde ale. Smells heavily of wheat and yeast. There is not much citrus to speak of, but the wheat smell is overwhelming. If this is a wheat ale the color is too transparent. I do not appreciate that. The beer has a nice head that sticks around for a while. There is a very nice wheat and yeast taste, but again the citrus flavor is just not there. The beer is of an average palate. This beer just lacks the nuances of a good wheat ale. I like the yeast and the wheat, but beyond that there is nothing here. Overall, a very middle of the road type of beer. BelgianBeerGal (1276), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA May 16, 2008 Bottled. Pours a cloudy golden yellow colour, with a firm white head. Citrus and spice aroma was pleasant. Easy drinking flavour with more citrus and some bananas. Good wheat beer. SSSteve (2047), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 14, 2008 sweaty betty pours a light gold, almost white, with a cloudy appearance and a huge frothy white head. a nice belgian white aroma of spices(clove, coriander) and yeast(marshmallow). the flavor has the same qualities as the aroma with a nice grainy malt. light bodied. pleasant.
