Tripplebrew (486), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours a hazy bright lemon yellow with full white head that dissipates to a thin layer. Aroma is strong bitter citrus and wheat. Flavor is definite dry wheat with lemon notes...The tart citrus is far more prominent in this beer. Dry flavor. not a bad blonde. A more tart/bitter blond than sweet. michael-pollack (2601), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 25, 2008 Draught at TDR EX: Aroma of lager yeast and wheat was very faint. Poured yellow in color with a small white head that diminished. Very hazy. Opaque. Tastes of lemon, wheat, and light spices. Medium body. Dry texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. This beer sucks. phishpond417 (1861), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Apr 22, 2008 This brew poured a hazey, cloudy yellow colour with a full white top and a very sweet, wheaty aroma. Taste is well balanced, nice fruit, well integrated hop feel- not overly malty. Refreshing, clean and crisp- nice for a hot summer day. rustychiles (997), Mesa, Arizona, USA Apr 21, 2008 Pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, oranges and malt. Flavor of wheat, banana and sweetness. Very easy to drink refreshing brew. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA Apr 14, 2008 On tap at Capital Ale House - Downtown. Cloudy orange body with a small off-white head. Sweet orange and wheat aroma. Wheat and light fruit flavor. alexsdad06 (1056), Ohio, USA Mar 26, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head. The aroma is a mix of fruits (apple, banana), wheat grass, spices, and dusty malts. The flavor is on the light side, but includes light spices, wheat, fruits (apple and banana again), and bready malt. Maybe in a pinch when the weather is hot. patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 10, 2008 bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a very thin head. It has an assertive aroma of citrus, banana, and yeast. The flavor is of wheat, citrus, and yeast and I noted some mild hops in the finish. It’s kind of thin on the palate. I found it refreshing but not nearly as flavorful as expected. My understanding was that the Looking Glass beers were supposed to be quite "bold" as the bottle label says. It’s average at best. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mar 2, 2008 Pours a lightly hazy straw colour. The flavour was some banana, clove, and citrus with a wheaty overtone. A decent beer but not enough wheat.
