Clear Pale lager. On appearance it doesn’t look like a wheat beer, well, at least not a traditional one. Nose is creme de bananna with not much else, perhaps a little sour smell. On the palate is some bananna sweetness and estery notes to confirm it is indeed a wheat beer, but not much else going on. Is this made by A-B? This can’t be a Boulder Beer?!?! NO!!!

hazy lemonade yellow with soft white head. dusty smell followed by notes of lemon, earth and faint banana. the flavor is the same except banana dominates the aftertaste, there is a muddiness and the finish is lacking. it is light bodied with high carbonation giving it a prickly mouth feel. the texture has an odd grittiness to it which deposits an artificial sugar-like coating on my palate.6/3/5/2/12/2.8

First off, I’m not sure sweaty should ever be used to describe something you are planning to consume. That being said, it does make for a rhyming name. This beer poured a bright, hazy yellow. The head is white and sparse. The smell is wheaty, the taste follows suit: wheaty, and banana-like. Very refreshing and reminds me of a hefeweizen. What is the difference a wheat and a hefeweizen anyway? Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 06-11-2007 22:34:58

This hazy yellow beer poured with a creamy white head and a citrus aroma. It has a typical wheat flavor with a bit of sourness and banana ester. Not bad for a wheat beer, but it’s not my thing.

pours a hazy color that looks exactly like tropical-flavored juicy juice. nose is wheaty, with the stereotypical hefe banana and spice notes. flavor is wheaty and yeasty with some acidic qualities. lots of banana, but pretty light on citrus.

From the Jug at the Boulder Beer Company, Boulder 08/10/2008 Light golden coloured and slightly hazy in appearance. Smooth on the palate and fruity with a crisp and dry malt finish.

Pours a hazy, straw yellow with a thin white head. Wheaty aroma with some yeast and banana. Tastes of grassy hops, yeast, wheat, bananas, other sweet fruits, and cloves. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Pretty average overall.

Poured a hazy pale yellow, thin head goes quick. Banana and light hops with esters. Malts and light hop with a mild body. No lacing or head to really speak of.
