| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 13, 2007 Bottled. Poured a clear bright golden with just a little white sticking around for head. The aroma was a sweet mess of vegetal notes, honey, and white peppery spices.. was more enjoyable as it warmed a little, but still not very good. Flavor was a touch better with more cohesion between the prickly wheat notes, peppery spices, and some bready sweetness. Light-bodied and sharp at times on the palate (albeit partially from wheat tartness that was supposed to be there). Didn’t do it for me. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 10, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear light golden color. Lots of bubbles on the side of the glass with a layer of debris at the bottom. Head was white and reduced to a thin film. No lace was left behind. Aroma was of clove, melon, and pineapple. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Overall, the flavors were not as prominent as the aromas. Tasted fruity with only a bit of pineapple and light clove. There was also some doughy malt. These flavors were mostly up front and dissipated toward the end, lamely ending like a boring American wheat. scottmc (167), Lakewood, Colorado, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2007 A traditional blonde ale light in body and heavy in head. A good wheat beer that is not popular, yet. A light hop aroma to compliment the good taste. Bradrcr (779), Renton, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jun 26, 2007 On draught at the Washington Brewers Festival. Aroma is peppery, phenolic, with some grainy wheat notes to it. Beer is cloudy with a white head; low retention. Flavor is bready, wheat malt forward, yeasty, slightly sour, with some vegetal notes. Light bodied, with a solid carb bite and dry finish. Was definitely confused, as this was just given to me as a standard ’blonde’ at the festival. Sat there with another beer judge just scratching our heads; glad to know this is not a true bolde, original score was 2.4... brewblackhole (1370), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA
