joshwilfong (769), Cleveland, Ohio, USA May 22, 2007 hazy golden appearance, flavor has no depth. a weak tasting summer brew with little wheat characteristic. nothing memorable about this beer. very weak andyhite (290), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA May 17, 2007 bottle. the pour yields a slight golden haze; the head resembles more of a residue than anything else. molded ocitrus is strong in the aroma, backed by banana creme and light pepper, topped off with yeast. the banana tones dominate the mouthfeel, but the taste is a bit tart resulting in in odd finish. this wasn’t my cup ’o’ tea. skoll (123), Traverse City, Michigan, USA May 12, 2007 Weak head on pour. Aroma starts of with faith citrus notes. nice crisp finsih. This is going to be a nice summer brew. Nephilium (541), Ohio, USA May 12, 2007 Aroma starts off with a hint of spice, and sweetness, with an undertone of bananas. It pours a very cloudy pale yellow, with almost no head. The flavor starts with a smooth sweet flavor (again with a hint of banana), then leaves a crisp citrus finish. A very nice spring/summer session beer, as well as a good introduction beer. dwedin (238), Portland, Oregon, USA May 9, 2007 Clear light amber pour with no head. Aromas of apples, lemon, and a little wheat. Crisp, clean and easy going. A little sweet for me. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA May 9, 2007 This is hands down the best American Wheat I have had yet. Boulder Beer never disappoints and this is no exception. Pour was a beautiful cloudy gold/white with a 1 finger white head. Aroma was strong yeast and wheat. Taste was classic....strong wheat and yeast with citrus notes throughout and a crisp dry aftertaste. Spring is here! BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA May 6, 2007 Bottle: Pours a golden color with a big puffy head that falls flat. The nose is a bit herbal and husky with light wheat notes and sweet malts. The flavor is sweet and malty, not as americany as I was thinking, this is actually more like a golden ale, not quite wheaty enough. Nice light hops, citrusy, somewhat balanced. Hmm. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA May 5, 2007 Bottle pours a hazy light yellow. "Blonde" I suppose. Very slight white head that quickly fizzles out and only a few traces of lacing. Aroma is standard wheat malts and a little leamon zest. Flavor is standard wheat but with some european yeast characteristics. German Hef or Wit.
