Bottle: Pours a cloudy, dirty blonde color with a smaller white head. Nose is citrus and wheat, hints of spices. Taste is consistent with the wheat style of citrus, clove, wheat, and a light spice. Hints of witbier spices, but it doesn’t really stand out. Thanks Indiana Red for sharing.

How can anybody remain unemotional after reading the name of this beer? Alky spec looks to be above average. The beer in this 12 oz bottle smells a little sterile industrial and clean, ahhh, no floral hops. Perhaps my olfactory detects some sour vinegary-ness. Beautiful wheat pour, swirling, hypnotizing, yeasty precipitants. Bright citrusy, but not sweet, flavors. Some alky bitterness does greet the side of the tongue but it fades rapidly. Not quite as clean as a witbier. On the finish you do get a little bitter bite on the tongue, back center. Overall, I’m glad the wheat beer style types exists, fun to drink.

Pours a cloudy, golden color with a white head. Aroma is of citrus, lemon, wheat, and some banana. Flavor is strong of citrus, lemon, and banana at first then gives way to the yeasty, earthy tones. Has a strange after taste that really isn’t that pleasant.. Overall it’s ok, but there are better american wheats out there.

12 oz sample bottle into a Snifter style glass. Pours a slightly hazed golden yellow with a small white head. Fairly strong banana aroma with a hint of wheaty yeast. Pretty simple and almost bland wheat flavor with a small hint of clove and banana, but not by much. Has a hint of an orange citrus note, but dies quickly with wheat. I feel like its confused on whether or not to be a hefe or a blonde. Not horrid though.

(Rating #957)

bottles from Kingdom Liquors Brandon - standard wheat with little carbonation and head, light citrus scent, very mild but more enjoyable as it went down!

Much hoppier than a typical wheat, almost like an IPA. Very clear and straw colored. Not much head. I don’t think I would get it again.

Almost no head with very little carbonation. Medium gold in color. Pretty bland aroma. Light trat aroma with some lemon and yeast. Slightly sour aroma with some soft malts and a little lemon and crab. Yes crab. And I have eaten enough of them to know. Kind of dry and pretty puckering from the sourness. That I did not expect. Some mild wheat but not much. FInish is tart and dry and totally not expected. I am not sure if this has changed over its life since it is over 6 months old but it was a plesant surprise and better than I expected.
