Feb 11, 2007 Much hoppier than a typical wheat, almost like an IPA. Very clear and straw colored. Not much head. I don’t think I would get it again.

Feb 7, 2007 Almost no head with very little carbonation. Medium gold in color. Pretty bland aroma. Light trat aroma with some lemon and yeast. Slightly sour aroma with some soft malts and a little lemon and crab. Yes crab. And I have eaten enough of them to know. Kind of dry and pretty puckering from the sourness. That I did not expect. Some mild wheat but not much. FInish is tart and dry and totally not expected. I am not sure if this has changed over its life since it is over 6 months old but it was a plesant surprise and better than I expected.

A—Strong bright yellow and mid-range cloudy, Average white head that quickly dissipates into top lace.
S—strongly citrus, grassy.
T—touch of lemon, stronger taste of wheat, soft grass taste at end of swallow.
M—light and refreshing, effervescent and bubbly. Wheat adds a nice character to the tongue without overpowering mouth.
D—very easy to drink beer. Excellent warmer weather beer.

Feb 3, 2007 22oz bottle. Clear, light pour with moderate carbonation. So clear I didn’t know it was a wheat until I checked the label. Light head that lasted 1/2 the glass was nice and fluffy with a lemony, light hop aroma. Tasted more of a light blonde or creme ale than a wheat beer. Highly drinkable with just enough body to give you the sense of a real beer.

Feb 2, 2007 12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma was of hay grass and a lemon. Flavor was light with an odd astringent aftertaste.

Jan 13, 2007 Pours a very lightly hazed light gold with half an inch of white foam. Decent head retention and lacing. Clove and mild banana in the aroma.
Somewhat sweet and fruity with candy banana and clove flavors. A hint of dry spice in the finish. Not quite medium body, light carbonation

Dec 8, 2006 Thin body for a Hefeweizen. Flavor is very artificial. Seems like lemon infused as opposed to quality yeast flavoring.
