JediMindTricks (240), Hampton, Virginia, USA Jun 25, 2009 Not bad for the style, but definately not even close to the best offering from this company...it is what it is... smcolw (314), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA Jun 13, 2009 Small, dense white head. Extensive bubbles coming up from the bottom. Cloudy as expected. Dark straw/light gold color.
Notable but muted wheat presence. Golden malt aromas.
Close resemblance to the spicy Belgian Whites. Lots of wheat, providing a souring finish. Very highly carbonated; tiny bubbles, there’s some body to counterbalance this, but it is still quite spritzy on the tongue.
radagast83 (1273), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Jun 5, 2009 Pours a translucent golden color with a white head. Aroma is grain, yeast, citrus. Flavor is grassy hops, yeast, citrus. Easy to drink but not the best entry from Boulder Beer. Adam77 (407), Eastampton, New Jersey, USA Jun 1, 2009 Poured gold with a white head. Aroma of... Water flavor with some citrus hints in the finish. Quench the thirst. emacgee (1859), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA May 29, 2009 Pours a pale translucent yellow with a one finger frothy white head. The nose shows corn, some grain, bready, hay/grassy, sweet. The flavor is sweet and bready, some grassy hops, nice light summer beer flavor, easy to drink. smooch (95), Sylvania, Ohio, USA May 27, 2009 A solid effort. Looks like wheat beer crossed with Mt. Dew though. A little too yellow for me. Flavor is interesting if unique in a way that I can’t comment on. This is different but good. halfonit (419), Fall River, Massachusetts, USA May 23, 2009 Similar to Hoengarden. Has a nice cloudy yellow color. Smells mostly of malts, wheat, and yeast. Taste is full of wheat and citrus. Not my type of beer. It should get a better rating, but because I’m not a fan of this style is the reason it got kind of a low score. Sorry. durhambeer (1186), Durham, USA May 16, 2009 Pours hazy pale yellow with white head. Bubblegum, bananas, some citrus, and sharp wheat. Not bad, but really not too good. Not as refreshing as I hoped. Would have preferred a pilsner after moving furniture and putting together a crib today.
