I am not sure why other people are having a problem with this beer, it is great. It is not you typical Wheat beer. It is an unfiltered wheat beer, meaning that you pour 3/4 of the beer into a glass swirl the remaining portion in the bottle and then pour that into the glass as well. This stirs up the yeast and introduces a whole nother flavor profile. And for all of those who rated this beer and didn’t swirl the yeast are missing out on some great flavors. This is by far one of the better wheat beers I have tasted and would drink this all day long in the summer.

Lemonade looking beer with a big, white head. Aromas of faint lemon zest. Tastes of lemons, wheat, and citrus notes. Zesty, refreshing lemon finish. Simple beer, one dimensional, but it is pretty good for what it is. I enjoy a good wheat beer, and this one fits the bill.

While Boulder Beer has some really nice brews....Sweaty Betty isn’t one of them. This beer doesn’t have much taste for the palate. Personally, I will save my money or spend it on their better beers.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy bright yellow color topped by a small short lived white head. The aroma is a little fruity along with mild grassy hops. Light bodied and bubbly with mild fruit, bread and wheat flavors. Kind of a watery texture. The finish is short and slightly lemony.

650ml bomber poured a cloudy pale golden color with modest white head and a few spots of lacing. Aroma is citrus with some banana and cloves. Taste is citrusy hop bitterness with light fruity sweetness and some banana and cloves in the finish. Quite a nice wheat beer that I rather enjoyed trying.

Poured a slightly cloudy golden hay color. Smells strongly of toasty hay. Taste is also very strong with hay. This is a little too potent for me for a wheat ale.

A: The pour is a very hazy yellow with a thick white head.
S: Smells like clove and banana with a fair amount of spice, mostly white pepper. Sweet bread and wheat with a definite citrus character, mostly lemon zest. Actually a bit more hefeweizen like than expected.
T: Tastes sweet with lots of bread and wheat. Light clove and banana flavors, a light pepper flavor, too. Very light in flavor, overall. A bit of citrus flavor to it, seems to be a combination of orange and lemon zest.
M: Light bodied with medium to high carbonation.
O: Better than many of the other "hefeweizens" out there, but I’d be fine not having this again.
