Well I finally had to open it, I have held off until now for some unknown reason. Gold color and a very small white head. Aroma is yeasty, malty and fruity. Flavor has a good amount of malt, yeast, lemon, and some spices. Faint hops on the end. Average at best.

From bottle. Has a mild sweet aroma, like a light wheat beer. Mild banana notes and just a bit of hops. Pale clear yellow-gold, with no head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation. Starts fairly sweet, with light banana and some wheat taste. Light carbonic acidity and not much of any hop bite. Overall, it finishes smooth and has a mild aftertaste.

Pours a hazy light gold with a 2 finger white head that has poor retention. Aroma is mostly yeast and sweaty malt, a little clove and some fruit. Flavor is much the same with a little lemon, bready yeast, and maybe a little hops. Really not a good wheat, (not my favorite style anyway) really lacks alot of the more complex fruity and spicy notes.

Hazy golden coloured body with a super-thin white head. Aroma of wheat, canned corn, coriande seed and a very light yeasty scent. Light-bodied; Sharp citrus flavour with wheat and coriander seed most noticeable. Aftertaste shows a lightly bittering malt with some other citrus tastes and a short fresh flavour. Overall, a good beer - must be nice in the summer instead of the winter, but still great to try! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 24-December-2005.

Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a small fizzy white head that fades to a thin skin of bubbles at the surface. On the nose are soft wheat and subtle banana, citrus and faint clove notes; fairly muted/subdued. Light-bodied and thin with tongue-scrubbing carbonation and a slightly acidic finish. The flavor is similar to the nose with an emphasis on the citric side of the equation, finishing with a mildly drying conclusion. Overall, I’m left wondering "why"? With so many other solid wheat ales out there, I’d be hard pressed to find a reason to ever drink this one again.

[Bottle] Pours a slightly hazy light gold with a quickly disappearing head of large white bubbles. Slightly musty aroma with some lemon, clove, and banana. Flavor is quite light, with some sunscreen, grass, and banana. Odd mid-palate that leads to a less than stellar finish.

Bottle. Very ugly beer, boasts a poor shade of yellow with slight haze. Like my pee when dehydrated. Sweet fruity aroma has lots of yeast esters including banana. Soft gentle carbonation. Banana esters emerge more in the flavors, which also include pronounced peach and melon.Betty is mainly sweet and yeasty but finishes relatively clean and tastes better than she looks.

Golden, hazy. No head. A touch sweaty in the nose - go figure - with hints of banana, lots of yeast and a bit of wheat. Sweet, banana and vanilla. Nice marshmallow notes. A bit dull but drinkable.
