Straw yellow, mild bodied with a slowly dissipating white frothy head. Aroma of yeast, spice, banana and fruit. Taste of wheat, fruit, spice with a spicy yeasty finish. Considering the lame name of the beer, I expected a drain pour but it surely exceeded expectations.

12 oz. bottle. A basic yellow pour, no haze in this wheat, thin head that’s gone in a few seconds. My stuffy nose picks up a basic malty beer smell, Taste is, I guess, fizzy to start with. Really, that’s my first impression when rating while fighting a cold. But I’ve got some citrus character here, which turns toward the orange side in the next few sips. A little light spiciness, but I don’t think I’d have picked this out as a wheat beer in a blind tasting. Some general, quite light fruitiness in the middle. No bitterness to speak of. A nice, mild but forgettable beer.

Pours a hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that does stick around. The aroma is yeast and a nice light citrus fruit scent. The flavor is a little bland and watery with yeast, some citrus fruit and mild spice, along with cardboard. It’s not bad though, is refreshing enough, and certainly gets the job done on a hot day.

Pours a hazy golden color like a wheat beer should look. However, since it is a wheat beer, there should be a substantial head, which was lacking. Thin head for a wheat. Actually this beer was more like a Belgian whit with the spices. The spices were not too strong, but noticeable. Very thirst quenching. Decent beer.

12 oz. bottle. Every time that I think I have had my last wheat beer of the summer, I find one more in my cellar. This one pours a hazy pale gold with a thin linen white head that faded to an incomplete film after the first sip and left no lace at all. Mild aroma of wheat and grassy hops. The flavor is again wheat with grassy hops along with some notes of lemon. Refreshing and crisp.

Bottle--Cloudy yellow coloring with a medium size head, a decent amount of carbonation fueled the head, that later faded. Soft aroma of citrus. Taste was yeasty with lemon rounding out the drink. The finish included that lemony smack on the lips. Produce 1.59

Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a slightly cloudy, pale yellow beer with no head, carbonation was almost non-existent. Aroma was a light citrus / banana, typical with the style. Carbonation was crisp, mouthfeel light, somewhat watery. Not much in the way of flavor, slightly sweet, but not much else. Some slight citrus notes on the palate, but otherwise kind of blah. Aftertaste is medicinal and slightly bitter. If you think you will find a decent weizen in this Looking Glass, keep looking...

12 oz bottle courtesy of the singles self at Binny’s (Orland Park, IL). Pours an unappetizing yellowish hazy mess with a small white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas have a solid banana estery base with a touch of light somber lemony citrus, which gave me a little promise. However, it wasn’t in the cards for this brew. Taste is much less welcoming, mostly bland wheat ale with some citrus and banana notes, a light body that is void of real flavor profile, and a decent refreshing finish. If you are looking for a refreshing quenching watery brew that isn’t a light macro, this is it. However, I did not like this.
