BillKismet (1476), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 19, 2008 Appealing cloudy straw-wheat banana yellow. Totally different than my expectation. Described as a "blond ale" at the Barking Dog. This was actually a mild and refreshing german style wheat. Easy aroma of wheat tart and clove. Some banana and clove flavors round out a tart, but palatable wheatiness. Refreshing and enjoyable
Theis (2470), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 21, 2008 Draught at Boulder Beer. Cloudy yellow - white head. Sulfor, banana, wheaty, citrus, yeasty, elderflowers, peachy, thin & broing. jeff789 (94), Pennsylvania, USA Nov 20, 2008 I’m still convinced i taste pepper in this... This beer was quite a bit thinner than i expected... It is quite drinkable for a summer wheat ale, but i cant imagine drinking this when it is not 90 degrees outside... Definitely citrusy... Homer321 (120), Rockledge, Florida, USA Nov 20, 2008 I’m confused. It’s a blonde and the bottle also says wheat? Which is it? bottled conditioned beer with citrus in the nose - most obvious being the orange, slightly spicy as it warms. flirly light and hazy appearance. no head and minimal carbonation. Lots of wheat in mouthfeel, very creamy. minimal hop flavor. Not sure what they were shooting for, but I think they missed. Not a blonde, and way to phenolic to be an american wheat, while not enough to be a german hefe. This isn’t a beer I would pay money for. Skinnyviking (2965), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 21, 2008 Draught. No head. Hazy green body.Aroma extremely weak fruity Lemon like flavor with little fruityness, pretty watery., just a weak note of coriander Too carbonated. Short aftertaste. . bconley (81), Fern Park, Florida, USA Oct 18, 2008 Draught at Odin’s Den. Yellow and pale color. Very thin. Had a pear-aroma Watery.
