Pours a hazy bright lemon yellow with full white head that dissipates to a thin layer. Aroma is strong bitter citrus and wheat. Flavor is definite dry wheat with lemon notes...The tart citrus is far more prominent in this beer. Dry flavor. not a bad blonde. A more tart/bitter blond than sweet.

Pale gold with a very small white head and some lacings. Taste is lemon grass with some sourness. Somewhat astringent on the tongue. Very minor bitter in the finish. It is an OK wheat beer. Cool name.

Sampled at 2009 Pittsburgh Brufest. Poured a clear golden color with a small white head that left no lacing. Decent aromas and flavors of lemon and spices. Finishes a bit watery. Eh an average Wheat and probably Boulder’s worst beer.

Bottle. Doughy yeasty banana aroma with touches of lemon sourness as well. Quite doughy, though. Mildly hazy yellowish color with tints of green and a very small dissipating white head thats dissapointing. Slightly sour to start, turning more banana-like in the middle. Touches of cloves, sour lemon juice to finish. Just sort of off...

Straw color in the glass with a loose collection of big bubbles on the surface. Sweet aroma of honey with citrus and dough. The initial taste is a little watery. The flavors of lemon, wheat, with faint banana/clove flavors in the background come out in the middle. This is a refreshing beer, but not very interesting.

Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Aroma has light banana, wheat, and hints of citrus. There is something else in the aroma that is really throwing things off but I can’t pinpoint the distinct aroma. Pours a cloudy orangish-yellow with a small white head. Flavors of banana, wheat and light tart citrus. Some Euro-lager sweetness makes it’s presence known in the finish with the slightest hints of spice.

Bottle from Carousel in PC Beach. Poured a fairly hazy golden yellow...light aroma of yeast, sourness, banana fruits. Flavor is citrusy, spicy, bready...not bad at all. Not world class, but better than anticipated. Medium bodied, lightly carbonated...fairly refreshing. Hell, the wife likes it.

First off I don’t know why they suggest a weizen glass. There isn’t much of a head. Looks like a pilsner to me. Can’t find much in the aroma except for a hint of sweetness and subtle green apples. Watery wheaty flavor. I’m not getting any spices that others are finding.Not bad but won’t buy again.
