Medium beige color - bubbly with a small head. Aroma of citrusy hops & carmel. Body is light with flavors of citrus, lemon, and some chewy malts. Decent, but doesn’t quite come together.

Bottle courtesy of mdbf79. Served in a Bruery tulip.
Pours a fairly-clear golden-copper color with a small white head. Touch of lacing and a bit of a collar. The nose has a bit of bready malt and light caramel with some earthy hops. Hops to the flavor with a good bitterness and light bread. Medium body and good carbonation. Dry finish. Good.

On tap in GABF 2011, 30th Anniversary, in the retro-1981 tent. Clear light golden with a thin white head. Very balanced aroma between biscuity malts and grassy citrus hops. Nice flavor of grassy pine hops balanced by simple dry biscuit malts, creating a simple, off dry, drinkable session brew that takes you back 3 decades.

Chunks of sediment floating about then settling on the bottom of my glass, golden color, honey and faint resin in the nose, has a somewhat citrus finish.

Yeasty sediment pour. Reddish color blocked by massive deposits of sediment. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if they brewed this one 25 years ago. Taste is slight licorice. Nothing fancy.

Bottle. Picked this up in South Bend after Dark Lord Day 2008. Poured a copper/dark gold color with a fluffy white head. Lacing and carbonation streams. aroma of caramel, citrus/pine/grass and biscuit malt. Flavor reminded me alot of an English Pale Ale. Dry biscuit with caramel and an earthy, English hop finish. Very easy drinking.

Mid-hazed amber/vermillion under a mostly-holding film of ecru. Yeast, malt & hops find pleasant contrast in the aroma. Organized chaos. Peppers. Fruit. Palate is dirty, dry & alcohol laden. Flavor is tart & yeasty with a fruitiness and deeper bready qualities. A bit astringent yet rather good.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a 1 finger white head. Lots of malt, pale and simple, a few spices, and a floral hoppy finish. Pretty lame beer to commemorate one of the best beer festivals espically for its silver anniversary.

Dark amber color with white head. Nose is dough and citrus. Flavor has a nice hop front that is followed by a nice malt backig with a nice little pepper bite. Had some oxidation due to the age, but was not too bad.
