COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Porter's popularity, in London during the early 1700's to the mid-1800's is legendary. Although stout was derived from Porter, it is now commonly thought to be placed, as a beer style, between brown ale and stout. The San Lorenzo Porter fits right in between those guidelines. Dark, roasty, coffee overtones define it's malt profile with hops added for a balance of flavor not typically found in a stout.
