2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Sampler at the brewpub in Boulder City. Not much to this one. Maybe a hint of aroma on the nose. Needed to be a little more carbonated and not much flavor to speak of.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This last batch must be much better than previous years. Good citrus aroma. Flavor of citrus, banana and clove. Nice and cloudy. The brewer had some good stories.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is a good German style hefeweisen. It is way underrated. Has the nice banana and clove flavor and nose. Had at the brew pub and really enjoyed having the brewer tell us about it.

Tap at the brewpub. Almost flavorless and nearly without aroma. Jus mild wheat. Very dull.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A hazed amber hefeweizen with a thin lacing creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet orangey banana with light cloves. In mouth, a sweet banana wit faint cloves, again, watery and boring. On tap at brewpub, August 8 2012.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Appearance was cloudy orangish gold with creamy diminishing white tiny head, spotty lacing. Aromas are yeasts of bananas, clove, hops are slight lemon with soft wheat and light sweet malt. Taste was sweet pale/pils malt with grainy wheat, then fruity hefe clove and banana yeasts. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with light-meduim body, then average fruity hefe length finish. Solid local Hefe...

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Low white head sits on hazy golden body. Hop character was VERY low. (Only 16 IBU). Light body has typical bavarian yeast characters. Finishes too dry.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap at the brewpub. Dusty, not fully hazed yellow-gold with a skim of head. Lime and orange soda aroma. Dry and astringent hop; cherrystone, grass and lime notes, with some salvaging banana and candy cigarettes in the aftertaste. A poor interpretation, sorry.

1.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Not too much wheat in the aroma. Not too much good in this beer either. Very very wheaty, with a dry fruitiness. Untasty, uncloudy, served with an orange, and the chalkboard says this is their most popular beer? This is their worst beer.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
On tap at the brew pub. Pours a hazy yellow with a small head. It doesn’t have much of an aroma. What there was had a musky smell, not what you would expect. The flavor was also not what you would expect. No spice or sweetness, just bland. Very thin watery finish. My least favorite of the six I sampled.
