COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Have you ever had a light beer? Sure you have. Did it suck? Sure it did. A light beer need not be fizzy, yellow water. We combine roasted barley and Minnesota two-row brewers malt in just the right amounts for a crisp malt flavor. We then use four varieties of hops for bittering and flavoring - East Kent Goldings, U.K. Goldings, Liberty and Hersbrucker Hallertau. At 35% less calories than our next lightest beer, you can have 35 times as many pints, right?

Draught at the brewery. Really better than expected. definitely better than most macro lights. not something I would put tons of effort into trying but better than an average light.

Pours a murky dull hay color and still. Tastes and smells of some stray hops and very yeasty. Not what one would expect from a light beer.

Unfitered hazy straw gold with tight white head and lace. Very light malt and light citrus aroma. Lemon/tart flavor with an earthy aftertaste. A thin and watery beer. I can’t explain this beer. If I had brewed it I would not let my friends drink it. But it was drinkable but odd.

on tap-pours a white ring for a head and cloudy straw color. Aroma is mild grain, tart. Taste is tart lemon, spice, wheat/grain. Interesting.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a hazy pale yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes steadily. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Mild hops and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with a lightly hopped character and a sweet malt undertone. The finish is grainy malt with a short mild hops aftertaste. Standard brewpub Light through and through.

draft at the brewpub - Pours clear, pale yellow with a small white, lingering head. It has a mild grainy malt aroma. The light flavor is of sweet, bready malt with a touch of crisp hops. It’s a thin bodied brew that’s pretty light on the carbonation and has a clean finish.
