COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Bavarian-style Hefeweizen fermented with a yeast strain that produces flavor profiles hinting of citrus, banana and clove. Brewed with a minimum of 50% malted wheat, this beer is very effervescent and refreshing.

12 oz from a six-er from Grocery Outlet, Salem. $5.99 Surprisingly "authentic" looking hefe..cloudy orange with a nice white head. OK aromas..spicy,citric,earthy and phenolic. Taste s pretty much the same as the aroma..rather peppery even..semi-dry and bitter end. Palate is fine for the style. Not a bad hefe actually for this side of the Atlantic and for sitting forelorn in a grungy discout Grocer.

Bottle from a Grocery Outlet. Pours hazy dirty amber with a 3 finger creamy off-white head. Nice banana/clove aroma. Near med body. Flavor is firm clove with definite banana. A pretty good hefe.
