COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

Tap at bukowski. Awesome grapefruit and orangepeel hop. Juicy clementine soft wheat taste. Nice beer. Refreshing.

Had this on draft at Howell and hood. Orange yellow cloudy pour. Bubbly frothy head. Floral hoppy sweet aroma. Smooth taste. Wheat for sure which I don't like, hops bring it up a notch for me. Well balanced and quality beer

Earthy. Cloudy dark gold. Thick head. Hoppy but not bitter. Kind of like a what soda.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle obtained through trade with queenholly. Pours bright hazy golden with small/medium white head which dies down. Fluffy white lacing, medium body, well carbonated, and estery aroma. Taste is citrus, rich, and estery. Hands down the best wheat ale I have had. Thank you queenholly and thank you Boulevard.

A little past its prime. I'll try to rerate later with a fresh batch. Solid fresh aroma. Mouthfeel is great. Taste is decent but a bit flat. Meh ok ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours hazy light gold into a weizen. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Caramel, yeast and resin aromas. Medium to sharp with sweet caramel and citrus front to back. Nicely balanced.

Bottle. Pours a hazy lemon-gold with a high, sticky head. Leaves copious lace. Nose has some lemon, some floral components, and a light herbal edge. The hops and malt are in definite balance -- it’s not aggressively hoppy, but the bitterness cuts through and complements the round wheaty mouthfeel. Not a beer of extremes -- and that’s OK.

Taste is an odd, bitter and sweet, with a funky spiced bread aftertaste. Light enough to be refreshing, zesty enough to bite back. Grrrrrrr hissssss ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Unfiltered straw color pour with medium to light white head and no lacing. West coast hop aroma. Lots of citrus and some pine. I pick up some traditional wheat aromas as well. Some grassiness and some yeast esters. Highly carbonated. Pretty good balance between both styles. Most wheat IPA's are either too much wheat or too much ipa. This is a good mix. Estery, sweet, grassy malt character with citrusy and caramel pale ale character. Good refreshing beer. ---Rated via iPhone

Hazy pale gold with a small tight rocky head. Nose was beautifully hopped, like fresh-picked wet hops with a grassy/floral/grapefruity nose on top of a subtle malty sweet undertone. Flavor brings a lot of the wheat forward with earthy wheat flavors sweetness, a bit of citric sweetness as well, with a lot of the same wet-hoppy tones from the nose...grassy, floral, and quiet not-too-acidic grapefruit. Bitterness was present and balancing though not too strong. Just sat exactly where it needs to be to accentuate the earthy sweet wheat flavors. Lovely.
