With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

Really like this combination of hop and wheat. Beautiful color and just the right balance. Not too much skewed toward the hop side. Great for the holiday season. Would buy again without hesitation.

Fragrance is really nice pours with a wonderful white head and is really a refreshing brew. Just the right blend of hops for a wheat beer. really different well brewed. Great summer beer, (even in the winter)

Hoppy IPA-like aroma only with lemon subbing for grapefruit. Very pale, cloudy yellow, more like lemonade than beer. Taste is an odd juxtaposition of bitter and sweet, with a funky spiced bread aftertaste. Light enough to be refreshing, zesty enough to bite back. Surprising that more brewer’s don’t try something like this.

Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Smells hoppy...and lemon peel. Tastes nice...somewhat fruity...with a bready finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a lightly hazed yellow golden with white head. Tropical sweet hop aroma dominant, mostly pineapple, White crackery, almost doughy undertones. Dry crackery wheat notes linger throughout with bits of pineapple and orange fruity hop popping through. Wanted this to be more than it was.

12oz bottle, pours hazy yellow with big white head that when it disappears leaves spider webs and lacing down the glass. the aroma is pine and some citrus...the flavor is fantastic...piny resinous and some citrus blend mixed with the wheat and some bready yeast. why did i wait so long to taste this one. another great beer from boulevard.

Hazy yellow with a medium-sized, bright white head. Moderate spruce up front in the nose turns pleasantly fruity (peaches) and a touch yeasty with very mild banana phenols. The flavor is a rather nutty wheat with zesty orange and grapefruit hoppiness. The nutty, cracker-reminiscent wheat partnered with the moderate bitterness is quite delicious and something I haven’t experienced to quite this degree before. Body is slightly sticky with light yet sharp carbonation. This greatly exceed my expectations.

Pretty great beer! Love the hop addition to the wheat! Starts out with wheat and then has a fruity hop finish.

Looks like a wheat. The hippiness is very much like a wheat beer with a lemon already added. Thin creamy head that dissipates. Not much lacing. But all in all, a very good blend oh wheat and hop. Which seems like what blvd was trying to achieve. Very drinkable, but not sure i would seek it out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
