COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

Bottle. Pours light hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity tropical hops and some nice citric notes. Some honey and a light wheat character. Flavor is citric, sweet with some melon, tropical notes and a soft wheat finish. Medium body and a crisp carbonation. Good beer

Poured a predictable hazy gold with a good lacing. Very low on the hops for calling itself a "hop wheat".

12 oz. bottle. Pours pale hazy golden yellow with a large foamy fluffy white head that slowly fades to a film and lacing. Aroma has lemon citrus and biscuit notes with a yeast smell too. Taste has awesome subtle bitter lemon citrus flavors along with solid biscuit bread and yeast notes and a light pepper to it. Palate is medium and dry with a chalky finish. Very enjoyable!

Hints of citrus are a nice addition to a wheat beer. I want to call it a good session beer.

This beer explodes with a nose of hops that makes your mouth water. It drink like a wheat beer that begs you to come back for more! One of the best beers I’ve had in quite a while!!!

Hazy yellow with a big frothy white head. Plenty of filmy lacing all the way down. Very IPA-like aroma of citrus and grass to go along with the wheat. There’s something in there that make me thin of spicy rye too. The taste is spicy and bitter. Very refreshing with a light body. Good stuff.

Light golden pour with large white head. Smells of fresh lemon and earthy aromas. Like a gumball head replica.

Bottle. Deep yellow/golden body with a fizzy, white head, slowly diminishing. Aroma of citrus, fresh hop leafs, floral soap, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Any wheat flavor is muted by resin hop flavor along with floral notes. Plus, there was an odd taste of petroleum and metal. That flavor was not overwhelming, but it was there until the lingerng bitterness and carbonation overtook it.
