COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

Finger of head. Cloudy, pale straw color. Smells like spruce and citrus. Like a Christmas tree with lemons on it. Interesting taste. I like it. Lots of citrus bitterness with an underlying soft wheat flavor. Low carbonation, medium and crisp body. The taste is pretty amazing.

Hazy yellow with a big frothy white head. Plenty of filmy lacing all the way down. Very IPA-like aroma of citrus and grass to go along with the wheat. There’s something in there that make me thin of spicy rye too. The taste is spicy and bitter. Very refreshing with a light body. Good stuff.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy with a frothy top bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated hazy yellow colored body. The mild aroma was citrus and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a bubbly aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of wheat and hops as advertised. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

A nice crisp taste with hoppy aromas. White head and semi clear yellow body. Definitely worth trying if you come across it.

Bottle. Hazy yet bright yellow pour with a clingy white head. Easy drinking wheat with some nice citrus hop character to keep it interesting. Very well done

pour a very light hazy yellow with an average white head. This beer has a medium strength grapefruit flavor and is lightly sweet and hoppy!!

Poured a predictable hazy gold with a good lacing. Very low on the hops for calling itself a "hop wheat".
