3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy golden color. A large, foamy white head is formed with three fingers and a soft texture. It fades moderately quickly, and leaves spotty lacing down the glass.
S: There is a decent amount of grapefruit, orange, grass, and lemon notes that betrays a rock-solid hop profile. What Iím not quite so sure about is the faint phenolic touch I also pick up. It sadly detracts from an otherwise very good aroma.
T: The flavor reveals lush citrusy notes throughout, and even an initial grapefruit-esque juiciness. It finishes with light touches of grass and lemon, and the dodgy phenols I picked up in the nose is kept in control here. Really likable if a touch mild.
M: I like how lush and creamy this is, helping to keep carbonation in check - and making it a bit syrupy at times. Aside from me wanting a drier finish, this has a very nice feel and great drinkability.
O: The more I have from Boulevard, the more I grow to like them. When done right, this is a style I really enjoy, and this beer in particular is a success. Iíd gladly make this a regular in my fridge.

3.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
nice aroma of tropical fruit, fruity but just a bit tropical like. finish is really beery in aroma just malt. the flavor is tropical and the beer is bready. looks like a Belgian ale kinda lemony, thin and champagne like. there is a dry chalky edge that while needed for this sweetish brew is over the top and takes your focus over the good. it has great aroma and very good taste but that sense in the middle is lemony, and tangy and caustic.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2016 12 oz. bottle from Liquor Barn (Middletown Commons). Aroma: The beer worldís answer to a Mimosa- orange juice hop character with a little balancing tang from the wheat, which is also lightly sweet. Appearance: Cloudy pale yellow with healthy carbonation holding up a foamy white head that settles into a sticky skin. Flavor: Juicy, tangy character melds up front with a little accompanying sweetness; malts dry out well and the finish has just a hint of bitterness. Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: Really loved this; an ideal brunch beer, and definitely one that Iíll return to when the days get warmer and longer. Itís lightness of body makes this 5.5% beer very drinkable for the strength.
