COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With roots in two of today’s most popular brewing styles, 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer is the result of careful cultivation by our brewers and cellarmen. Their efforts to craft a hybrid yielded a bumper crop of flavor; a delightfully distinctive ale with the aroma of an IPA and the refreshing taste of a wheat beer.

This is a very tasty wheat ipa. It has the taste you’d expect from an ipa and the smoothness you’d expect from a wheat beer.

very impressed with this beer. This is Boulevard at its finest, a great beer without overthinking it. Very citrusy on the nose with an excellent hoppy/wheaty finish, as sessionable as they come. To style, I think this is exactly what they were going for. I will be enjoying quite a few of these in this sitting

I love this beer! Nice grapefruit and lemon aromas. Crisp hop bitterness lights up the tongue. Big citrusy flavors complement the tart and refreshing characteristics of the wheat. A great session beer that is not heavy but big on flavor.

Pours a cloudy bright yellow-gold with a thick white head. Aroma is all citrusy, grassy hops, very nice. Flavor is light and fresh, citrus and flower and grass again, with a nice, light wheat undertone. Palate is also light and fresh, not overly carbonated but still light enough to be refreshing. This is a truly excellent new style of beer that combines the very best of IPA and American wheat beer. One of the best and most refreshing summer beers available.

Poured into a Boulevard Tulip. Not much lacing. Citrusy quality I look for in an IPA finishes with that Boulevard signature wheat taste. Great session beer!

bottle. cloudy gold with a fluffy, stable, bleach white whipped head. bright nose of citrus, husk, corn meal. this is a good one! very balanced with a grassy, citrus hop note with grainy husky wheat notes. light and refreshing flavor with a full and creamy body.

Hazy pale gold with a small tight rocky head. Nose was beautifully hopped, like fresh-picked wet hops with a grassy/floral/grapefruity nose on top of a subtle malty sweet undertone. Flavor brings a lot of the wheat forward with earthy wheat flavors sweetness, a bit of citric sweetness as well, with a lot of the same wet-hoppy tones from the nose...grassy, floral, and quiet not-too-acidic grapefruit. Bitterness was present and balancing though not too strong. Just sat exactly where it needs to be to accentuate the earthy sweet wheat flavors. Lovely.

Crazy clean lemony intrusive aroma. Pillowy white head golden haz with some milky ness very simple but super enjoyable velvety citrus with offsetting sweet and slight bitterness. Not trying to be a homer but this beer when super fresh is at the absolute apex of session beers.
