COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Amber Ale is an exceptionally well-balanced beer, complex yet thirst-quenching. American pale malt provides a firm foundation. English specialty malts impart a nutty sweetness, perfectly complemented by noble German hops. The deep coppery color holds the light, reflecting a ruddy glow, and the finish is clean, round, and delicious.

Pours clear amber with a lot of fluffy off-white head. Aroma is dark fruits, citrus hops and dust. Flavor is mostly sweet dark fruits and citrus with a slightly nutty flavor. A bit thin but still pretty good

Moving out of KS rate-a-poolza. 12oz bottle poured into a .25L Corsendonk goblet. Bottled on the 356th day of 2012. Best by 05/20/13. The store where I bought this fridges their beers.

Pours with a small head. Color is a ruby/orange dark copper. As the bottle of this bottle conditioned beer is emptied into the glass a very pretty hazy is created. A pretty damn cool color. Aroma is malt heavy but a moderate hoppiness peaks through. One complaint is a bit of a weird estery character behind all that. Flavor is better, lacks the estery character and just an amberish malt and hoppy mix. Eh, its an amber.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off white head. Lightly sweet malts, a hint bready, and even lighter toasty notes, with some floral and earthy bitterness. relatively well balanced, nothing offensive. Solid dry finish. Not bad.

Nice easy drinking amber with a great balance and good german hop additions gives it a round mouthfeel.

woohoo, rating no. 10! Bready, malty, perhaps biscuity. Caramel notes, good beer for converting friends not accustomed to craft beer. Gotta start somewhere!

Red amber in color with a very large, frothy, light tan head. Moderate malt aroma with some subtle spice akin to black pepper and a light sweet wheat tang at the end. Moderately sweet flavor that turns a little bitter and finishes with notes of sour grains. Rather watery palate with light carbonation.

Pours a hazy orange/amber with a decent off white head. Malt and grass aroma. Taste is sweet malt, caramel and a butteriness. Only a slight bit of hop bitterness after the swallow. Tastes good and is well balanced, though a little on the thin side. Wish there was more flavor to it. A good session beer anyway.

Bottle. Pour is light, clear amber with a medium white head. Aroma is light caramel malt and a ton of bready yeast. Flavor is bready yeast and faint oxidation. Wow, not too good.
