Coppermonk (2), Mission, Kansas, USA does not count Jan 21, 2004 I believe it is the lager yeast in this one that sets me on fire. I am so used to ales, but this one knocked me on my backside.
Filled with flavor, this would be a nice offering year-round. Seems to age well in the fridge, I'll buy a little more next year. Dansting (222), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Jun 16, 2004 My only complaint is that it sells out too fast. They need to increase their production. The best part of fall. humulus (337), Salem, Missouri, USA Oct 23, 2003 Lagers are often so bland and predictable, but here is a refreshing alternative. Spicy, malty, dark and luscious Bob's 47 sets new standards for the breed. Lasting head, dark copper tone, sweet smooth mellow malt and a kiss of hops make this brew number one on the charts. Hats of to Boulevard and this fine tribute beer. May Bob Werkowitch rest in peace. MilkmanDan (1937), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Dec 21, 2003 Updated: Dec 2, 2005Nice caramel color. Nose very malty, a bit sweet. Huge malty flavor, nice caramel tones, nice hit of bitterness at the end, sort of a faint Cascade-esque citrus bite to it. Quite creamy. Really, really good stuff.
