COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The smooth, soft maltiness of Boss Tom’s is complemented by a restrained hop presence. The mild warming quality of the beer makes it perfect for days when there is still a bit of a chill in the air. The beer finishes with a lingering dryness, and just a hint of caramel. Pale, Munich, Pilsner, Caramel and Wheat malt. Hallertau and Perle hops.

One of my favorite pilsners. Quenching and refreshing. Too bad it's not available year round. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at a homebrew meetup. I really am not sure what people’s issue with this beer is, it’s pretty damn good. Anyway, Pours a deep gold with a resilient head. The nose is crisp pils malt, light hopping and a biscuity fullness. On taste, round and full malt profile. Melanoidins and baked bread, light hop note. Really nice malt profile. Medium bodied. Finish is clean. Damn fine bock...

12oz. bottle served into a pint glass This is my first maibock so I don’t have anything to compare other than the standard. I like this beer’s flavor and strong but not overbearing body. Another good Boulevard product. Pours a clear pale amber color. White head, 1.5 fingers, pretty fluffy, but short lived. Aroma is crisp and clean, base malt smell with a hint of hop aroma. Earthy, husky smell is very appetizing. Nice full body balanced by the carbonation. Finish is slick and abrupt. It’s very easy to drink, even at 6.1%.

A clear, golden pour with white head. A malty aroma with notes of bread and wheat. The taste is crisp, lightly sweet, and finishes somewhat dry.

Bright yellow gold, small sticky white head. Clean white sugar sweetness with a bit of underripe strawberry. Pale sweetness, soft doughy body, reminds me of dead guy. ale yeast? hint of caramel and thistle in the finish.

Nice bock. It’s a shame, but people’s "issue" with this beer is that it’s a heller bock, not a DIPA or Belgian or RIS. This is a very good example of a German bock. Nice pale golden color, light straw sweetness in the nose. Well balanced palate. Finishes clean, no off flavors.

Shaker pint on tap at the Coyote Grill in Leawood, Kansas. Pour is clear golden, with no head to speak of - what’s there is white. A bunch of fine carbonation bubbles to the top. Aroma of grassy slightly sweet grainy toasted maltiness. Clean, but faint - this was server very cold, so it took awhile for it too warm up and actually display any aroma. Taste of sweet, floral maltiness. Grainy, full flavored, really nice spice clove mild honey notes. Behind the malt and sweetness is a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Palate is medium, coats a bit then frees up to a drier finish (with hops present). Really flavorful and easy drinking. I wasn’t expecting too much from this, but was really impressed. Though, looking at the ratings I seem to be in the minority.

Great aroma. Although it’s not typically the style I enjoy, I really liked this beer. I’m surprised to see that it’s the same style as Dead Guy. Seems more like an excellently done American pilsner.

On tap at Flying Saucer. Pours a clear orange golden with a small white head that quickly diminishes to nothing. The aroma is corn malt and honey. Thin mouthfeel with a dry hop with caramel and honey. Easy to drink a good Heller from Boulevard.
