COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The smooth, soft maltiness of Boss Tom’s is complemented by a restrained hop presence. The mild warming quality of the beer makes it perfect for days when there is still a bit of a chill in the air. The beer finishes with a lingering dryness, and just a hint of caramel. Pale, Munich, Pilsner, Caramel and Wheat malt. Hallertau and Perle hops.

Bottled, BB 7/1/10. Poured clear straw golden with a decent cap of white head. The aroma picked up honey and lightly-toasted grains with lesser bready notes.. touches of lemon and other fresh hops around.. warm overall with a deep sweetness. The flavor found more of the honey and bready sweetness at the core.. spicy on the edges with fresh earthy bitterness.. lemon and warm bready sweetness on the finish. Medium-bodied with low-moderate carbonation.. spicy and nicely warming.. this wasn’t exceptional on any front, but it was easy-drinkin’ and tasty.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden-light orange color. The head was short and limp. It fizzled out pretty quickly. Smelled of noble hops, hay, and cheddar biscuit. Not bad. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Fleeting, delicate sweetness up front, but otherwise dry with some mild bitterness at the end. Tasted of grassy hops, honey, hay, and biscuity malt.

bottle - Pours clear gold with a small, white head. There’s a caramel rich aroma that’s a bit toasty. The flavor is sweet malt, caramel, and maybe a hint of vague fruit notes. Medium bodied. Fairly good.

Bottle best by 06/19/10. Nice to-style nose, grassy hops and pils malty shining though. Sweet, soft water. Pours a bright, clear golden with a large, jiggly white head. Indeed, very soft on the tongue, lightly dry, taste just as aroma with low bitterness and sweetness mixing nicely. Have to give it up - very balanced and enjoyable.

[Bottle] Pours a transparent golden color with a small white head. Aroma of caramel malts and grains. Light malts, grass, grains and caramel in the taste. Better than expected body, but reminded me more of a nice pilsner than a bock. This is still a pretty solid beer.

Draft at Westport Local. Nice, deep gold color with a white head and nice lacing. Light, malty lager aroma. Pretty full mouthfeel...almost creamy. Nice malt and bitterness. Pleasant.

not much of an aroma; golden amber and clear with minimal white foam head, light sweetness, lightly bitter, can’t taste much hops and malt is mild, good smooth taste; medium body, thin feel, soft carbonation, and smooth finish.

Very Clear golden pour with light head. Aroma is slight floral with light sweet malt a bit of butter or butterscotch some yeast notes and mineral but fairly fresh and mild. I would swear this is not a 6%er .Its smooth but with a tart citrus on the front of the mouth with grainyness and its got this hop flavoring/lingering in the bittering wich is unusual. The bittering has a unique kind of spice that stays in your mouth like a mild peppermint or kind of like how ginger or garlic or onions are hot/spicylike warming i guess almost like what menthol does to a milder extent. This is mildly sweet but pretty sessionable probably pretty nice with certain foods.I like the finish thats about its highlights otherwise its averageish.Overall mildly sweet butter with floralness.Seems pretty light bodied and smaller abv-like,good sessionablitly though
