I bought a single bottle of this as part of a M&M 6-pack from Binny’s in Downer’s Grove, IL for $9.99 in Early 2012.
Pours a very dark brown/black color with a fluffy light brown head. Scent is mostly of robust malts and cocoa. Taste is heavy and flavorful. Has a robust cocoa sugar taste that is smooth. Finishes with a dry, slightly bitter after taste. Great Drinkability and well made.

Pours opaque black with nice beige head that a decent spider web lacing. Nice malty aroma. Taste start with dark roasted malts with toffee and chocolate flavors and finishes slighty bitter. Nice balance and easy to drink.

bottle. Pours dark with tan head. Smells roasty, coffee, doughy. Tastes full, nutty, chocolate. It’s really a great porter. Yummy.

Bottle. Bought this to try and really like it. Very nice beer. Really nice color and good porter aroma. Tip of my hat to Boulevard for this little gem.

poured from bottle into a pint glass. Pours a very dark brown color with a nice and defined head.
Very well balanced aromas of toffee, roasted caramel, roasted malts, and some bits of smoke and coffee. Good complex aromas but with nothing completely jumping out
full bodied with very good flavors of roast coffee, toffee, caramel and a bit of smoke. The feel is a slight bit of a let down as it is slightly hollow in the middle
An extremely good porter. Excellent lacing with very good aromas and good flavors

Deep brown to coffee/chocolate type color. Very nice head and plenty of lacing. It’s got a sweet, roasted, woodland type smell. not real strong, but pleasant and on par with the taste. The taste is very fine. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and smoke. Downright delicious if you ask me. Mouthfeel is thick and tangy, with plenty of carbonation and a nice, lingering, slightly bitter, smoky aftertaste. Drinkability: Pretty darn high.

Deep brown pour with some beige head. Lots of roasted malt and nuts in the aroma - flavor is more of the same with a bit of toffee and some hop bite.

Bottle expired 10-21-2011 consumed 1-7-12.... Pours dark brown with strong light brown head. Aroma is faded bittersweet chocolate, espresso, some raisin and smoke, tastes the same. Body is silky and medium, average carbonation, roasty finish. Overall, pretty good but would like to try fresh.
