COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The intense flavors of dark-roasted malt in our rendition of the classic English porter are perfectly balanced by a generous and complex hop character. Bully! Porter’s robust nature makes it the ideal companion to a variety of foods, from seafood to chocolate.

355ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Stokmarknes. Persisting fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacework to the glass. Clear, deep ruby dark coloured body. Dark malty smell of star anise and cocoa. Similar taste of cocoa, aniseed, ash and almond. Roasted malty ending, bittersweet. A medium bodied porter that was quite tasty and easy to drink (Stokmarknes, 02.03.2013).

Bottle 0,33l. Pours a dark, coffee black colour with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt certainly come through. A medium level of bitterness with the coffee and malt flavors are quite satisfying, though a bit dry. A medium body with high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pretty hoppy nose - especially for a porter. Deep, rich, dark pour with thick tan head. A bit of sour fruit up front, with light hoppiness. You don't really get any maltiness until the finish....which is a roasty, coffee flavor. Fairly heavy body - good mouth feel.

Dark Black. Thinner than expected. Bitter. Hoppy, leaves just a slight sweet and creamy after taste. Good.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Norway. Pours dark brown, with an inch thick head that has some retention. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts and some dark fruits. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavour has a slight sweetness to it, with coffee overtones and a nice bitter finish from the hops. Goes down very easily, and a very nice porter on the lighter side of the abv scale.

Medium beige head. Clear, deep dark red body with light carbonation. Roasty earthy spicy aroma with raisins and chocolate notes. Dryish earthy roasty taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry roasty spicy licorice aftertaste with soy sauce and chocolate notes. Lingering harshly bitter spice finish lingers. It’s nice, but not great. (0.355l bottle, wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.)
