COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The intense flavors of dark-roasted malt in our rendition of the classic English porter are perfectly balanced by a generous and complex hop character. Bully! Porter’s robust nature makes it the ideal companion to a variety of foods, from seafood to chocolate.

Pours black, good looking beer. Little cinnamon in the nose, interesting, roasty, but overall mild aroma.. bit thin, light-bodied porter for my taste, does have some good malty flavors, tasty, not tremendously compelling but I wouldn’t mind a couple pints at the bar.

Pours a mahogony color. Thick tan head at start, had some weird pitting in the head. It’s cute. The head thins out considerably. Pretty decent lacing going on as I drink it.

Aroma is of chocolate and deep roasted coffee. There’s also dark roasted malt.

Taste is bitter, but that’s okay. I certainly taste the coffee and chocolate, but the dark malt is prominent. But it’s not just dark, it’s almost burnt malt. But it’s yummy. It’s bitter, but again, tasty.

Mouthfeel is deceiving. It’s bitter, but the mouthfeel is medium. It’s not very heavy at all. In coffee terms, it’s smooth but bold. It finishes pretty bitter. But that’s because of the style.

Overall, I really like this. There’s not much else to say about it. It’s what I expect from a porter, and maybe a little more.

bottle. Near black with one finger head. Quite a bit of chocolate malt. Very light on the roasted nature. Bitter hops in the finish.

Bottle. Nothing amazing, have had far better examples of English-style porters. Fairly thin in taste and mouthfeel, with some liquorice and chocolate. No big flavours that jump out at you, quite watery.

Bottle. Poor a dark black with tan head. Aroma roast and coffee. Some sweetness to taste at the beginning but finishes with chocolate and a little more bitterness than normal. Nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Decent porter, very earthy in aroma from equally as earthy hops. Slight pencil in flavor with toasted malts. Ok!

From a bottle. A brown body with thick brown head that faded to about an inch. Nice retention. A nice malty aroma rich with roasted malts and chocolate. Flavor had nice roasted malts and the chocolate malts seemed subdued. A slightly bitter aftertaste. Dry finish. Smooth body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
