COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Neighbors for nearly twenty years, Boulevard Brewing Company and The Roasterie share a passion for making extraordinary beverages. In Coffee Ale, our two celebrated brewing traditions come together in a long-awaited collaboration. Ethiopian Sidamo from Africaís Great Rift Valley has been carefully blended with rye, oats, and malted barley, and spiced with Perle and Styrian Golding hops. The delightfully fragrant beer presents a glowing, tawny-amber hue. The clean, crisp acidity of the air-roasted coffee mingles with malt on the palate, lingering faintly in a subtly sweet finish.

750 c&c from Bine and Vine. Pours darkly ruddy with a fizzy beige/tan head. Aroma is plain coffee. Med body. Flavor is smooth, dry coffee. There is malt an a little mix of indiscernible flavors, but primarily coffee. Well done.

Sampled at esbls. Fairly dark brown. Almost all coffee is smelled. It is tasted, too and is quite nice. This is well done, no pun intended.

750 ml. bottle- Pours slightly hazy ruby red with a two finger light tan head. Aroma is coffee actually, it smells like I just opened up a bag of high end coffee beans. The taste is just what it says, ale brewed with coffee, creamy authentic coffee. This beer is meant for coffee drinkers, not beer drinkers that like impy stouts brewed with subtle coffee hints, you actually taste real fresh tasting coffee, really interesting. Body is medium and carbonation is medium high. Good, The Roasterie makes a mean bean!

Pours deep amber with a thick, dense mocha head. The second non-stout coffee beer Iíve had in the past week thatís really good, which makes me think there should be more of these.

deep red/brown. Zest spice on the nose. Tons of coffee bean aroma. Nice and smooth on the palate. Smooth coffee. And a finishing bitterness and spice. Good, not great.

Lucky find. I had actually tried to trade for this without any success, but then I found it in North Carolina. Huzzah! Lucky Me! Anyway, itís good. Nice fresh coffee flavor dominates, but there are also notes of chocolate and caramel. Smooth and rich. Good Stuff...

Pours a deep amber color with a foamy off-white head and some lacing. The aroma is a slight coffee and hop earthiness and a lot of coffee roast notes. The flavor is coffee throughout, with more roast coffee notes and a fewer chocolate notes over a fairly carbonated medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
