3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Habershams, Savannah. It pours clear deep brown with a medium beige head. The nose is big on the coffee, chocolate, earth and wood. The taste is coffee, earth, some acidity, wood and cocoa with sweet coffee on the finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty one-dimensional really. Couldn’t drink more than a glass of this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared by bhensonb. Pour reddish brown with a modest tan head and a coffee aroma. There is a roasty rye flavor with a carbonated and bitter coffee finish. Very complex.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
750 ml bottle via local STL trade. Pours a deep coffee brown with a massive rocky beige head that takes a while to settle into a small ring. Aroma of coffee, cocoa beans, earth, dark fruits, earth, nuts, and toast. Flavor of old cold coffee, nuts, toast, dark fruits, rye spice, and earth. Light-bodied, with minimal carbonation and a palate that starts smooth and dries up late. Pretty odd beer, maybe with a slight carbonation issue. Not bad, though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Deep brown, moderate frothy tannish head, spotty lacing.   Big bright coffee aroma.   Pretty simple, coffee with a bit of creamer on the nose.   Sweet and roasty coffee on the tongue.   Hard to believe this is actually 9.3%!   Very simple, but very clean and tasty.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes with lots of fresh coffee, a touch of creamer, with a background of lightly roasted malts.   Pure and simple a very good simple Coffee beer.   Not a Coffee infused beer, its just a Coffee beer pure and simple.   Nothing fancy, but very much a Coffee beer.   Strong, semi-sweet, with pale roastiness.   You want Coffee, get this one!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Head is initially large, frothy, light brown, mostly lasting.
Body is cloudy dark amber, unfiltered.
Aroma is moderately to heavily malty (coffee, Oreo cookie), with a light note of strawberry.
Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter.
Medium to full body, fluffy/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Very solid brew...especially wrt the mouth experience: excellent balance and a nice fluffy mouthfeel. And where the heck is the alcohol? Over 9%??? Seriously, r u jokin or wat? 9% is like 6% to Boulevard, fine sum1 else to measure your ABV. The aroma doesn’t quite rise above "pleasant", but it is very much that...nice coffee character, especially.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Jay! Dark reddish pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of lots of roasted coffee bean, hints of roast, chocolate, nice caramel, toffee, hints of earth. Taste is a mix of slight coffee, hints of roast, toffee, hints of grass, slight burnt caramel, finishing fairly bitter, slightly roasted. Kind of disappointing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
750, corked and baled. Pours a murky dark brown with a gigantic tan head that sticks around forever, once it finally settles down. Gorgeous big nutty coffee nose, smells like good coffee. Nice fresh gingerbread dark bread crust maltiness there too. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Rich dark earthiness, nuttiness, and gingerbread notes from the combination of malts and good coffee. Really a nicely integrated effort.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, dark brown color with tan foam, didn’t have the high carbonation others have seen, pleasant straight forward coffee aroma and flavor with a hint of chocolate and raisins, touch sour on the finish
