3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Sammy (6119) - Toronto, - DEC 12, 2011
Went for the boulevard half first. Yes, their stuff has a similar taste but I like it. Light and hazy appearance. Funky aroma. Creamier than the drier Deschutes side, with sweet and a bitter aspects. Nice drinkability, though i do not want a bomber by myself. Horizontal tasting, thanks Tom.

750ml from Crown Liquors, Indy Downtown. Was not expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did, particulary given that it was released many months ago. Lustrous pale orange pour with a big filmy head jutting out in awkward directions. Sticky lacing, good gritty beer. Nose is sharp and herbal initially, back up by nice dry hops and citrus rind. Beer is still well hopped, surprisingly, and the wit elements are present enough to accentuate a dry and tropical IPA in ways that were surprisingly successful to me, especially the sharp lemongrass flavors. Nice!

More of a Belgian. Could be due to age that the hops are no longer a factor but I've had one fresh and still got Belgian. Crisp and clean taste, blonde clear appearance. Lacing clings to the glass and a little booze becomes present as it warms. All over decent.

750ml Bottle dated best by 2-2012 poured into Boulevard Tulip
Aroma: coriander, oranges, grapefruit, vanilla, bubblegum, peaches, banana. all aromas are very light aside from the coriander and orange peel. This smells incredible and reminds me of Two Jokers.
Appearance: very clear, lots of bubble rising, 3 finger mound of thick white head that faded very slowly. laces glass extremely well.
Taste: mild sweet, medium sour, mild bitter
Palate: light body and thin but also a bit sticky on the finish. bitter and sour are in the aftertaste but both are very light. carbonation is lively.
Overall: I am extremely impressed with this beer. I am drinking it later than i should but i found a couple bottles in an obscure shop after it was long gone in KC. It reminds me of a hoppy Two Jokers Double Wit which is one of my favorites. Sad that both Collab #2 and Two Jokers are retired.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Scipio (183) - Vernon Hills, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2012
Pours an extremely cloudy and sediment filled yellow with a full white head. Aroma is very floral and citrus. Filled with orange, lemon, coriander, spices, and hops. Taste remains very floral. Quite grassy also. Lemon is strong, with a heavy orange flavor, with a peppery aftertaste. Hops take more of a backseat with this one. An IPA without the taste punch. Not to light, not to heavy when drinking, while a bit sticky. Much more of a white ale with the IPA as supplements. Something different and enjoyable to try.

It poured a yellow color. with oranges and coriander. The aroma was of orange peels, coriander, citrus and some floral notes. The taste was tones of fruit and creamier than expected. A very good White IPA.

Bottle pours light yellow with white head. Aromas of spice and funky yeast with grassy hops. Taste is like a witbier with American hops. Nice beer overall.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ESBob (164) - Indiana, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Pours a very light yellowish orange, very hazy. Ample white head with quite a bit of carbonation. Aroma is light citrus and lemon zest. Taste is citrus, especially lemon zest, spicy notes apparent as well, coriander??. Slight pepper spice finish. Very good and fairly complex IPA, drinks a bit like a saison. Good Stuff!
