Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, nuts, roast malt, notes of chocolate and hops.

Bottle @ The 4th Annual Fastelavns-Smagning Ulfborg, 2013. Pours ruby amber with a creamy head. Toffee, caramel and fruit. Soft and medium bodied. Tasty.

Strongly yeasty, highly carbonated. Caramel malt gets overwhelmed by the yeast. Bitter and malty. I don't love the style, and this doesn't change my opinion one bit.

750ml bottle in a tumbler. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted and chocolate malts, some toffee, some oakiness and sour notes, plus a nice amount of floral hops. Flavor a good blend of everything with a little alcohol on the finish. A good amount of carbonation. An interesting beer, but there is room for improvement.

750mL bottle. Poured a lovely shade of garnet with a nice cap of dense beige head on top. The aroma picked up caramel, toffee, and biscuity malts with accents of cocoa and herbal hops.. some brighter, tangy barrel on the back of the nose.. very interesting. The flavor opened with tangy oak and a touch of sour darker fruit.. cocoa and aged caramel settled onto the middle.. finished with a good blend of sourness and sweet, chewy malts. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated on the palate.. the sourness was quite complementary.. good brew!

Poured from bottle brown with little head. Aroma is of bready malt and funk. Tastes of hops, malt, funk, toffee, chocolate, dark fruit, and finishes tart. Definitely better with a bit of age.

Pours thick with honey color, settles black. Thick mouthfeel, aroma of coffee, some banana, hints of alcohol. Good brew!

750ml Bottle A - Pours the color of liquid raw honey with little head. Some lacing. S - Faint cocoa & toffee. T - Tart cherry up front, chocolate, toffee. M - Medium bodied, mild carbonation, mild tart/bitter coffee finish. O - Very good. 5 months from release date really improved this brew.

On tap at Red Monk. Hazelnuts. Kinda muddled this one is. Slight apple-y tartness. Over carbed. Astringent.
